Date: April 20, 2009

"Don't hesitate to purchase this..First of all the shipment was fast..Had it in 4 days..The Pen itself is well made and easy to put up..bout 1 min. The door is such a plus at this price.. I keep 4 tiny Shih Tsu's in mine..tons of room..Make sure you get one tall enough if you have jumpers..I also got mine at 36' high..we motorhome alot and i think it's a safer height when turning away for a minute or two. Thanks Petco !!!"

"Very attractive look and I like the door with the low threshold...it makes it easier for puppies to get in and out. We use a Deluxe crate with this at night so our whippet puppy can sleep in the crate but go into the pen to potty. It has made housetraining so easy! The door has a spring loaded closing mechanism which seems to feel more secure."

Great for what it is

"We have used this as an exercise pen outdoors in the Spring, Summer and Fall. We have also used it indoors as a whelping pen. I find it to be sturdy and easy to set up.
If you are going to keep your pet in it for any great length of time, I would recommend connecting two or more together to allow for more space."

I love it
|

"I absolutely loves this. I have 3 Great Danes, and with the older one i spent $150 on a giant kennel. With the 2 babies i spent 90 on this and it's HUGE. I have it in the office and they can cuddle and play whenever i have to leave the house. It's not big enough to ever use out doors, but if you crate train this is perfect and the price was awesome. It is really tall, so if your breed doesn't require a 4 ft fence i would get the shorter one."

Good, but returned
|

"I think the fence is awesome! It is very sturdy. When set up, it can't be knocked over. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it did not have removable panels. I had to get the Precision Pet Gold Series Exercise Pen. With that one, you can remove as many panels as you want. If I had more space, I would have kept this one though. If you have room for the full size one, then go for it. If not, go for the Gold Series. It is awesome (5 stars!!!)!!!"

good for puppy training
|
Date: June 1, 2008

"I bought this pen after crate training my pug puppy for several months. It's a good that she can move around if she wants and that the pen is flexible in shape to fit in my small apt. I would be careful on hardwood floor however, the coating on the metal bars is not a thick as it is on the precision crate that I have and I have already scratched my floor moving it around."

"Easy to set up and take down. Just haven't figured out how you are supposed to attach it to a wire kennel like it says you can. Can't see any way to take it apart."

We bought two!
|
Date: January 27, 2008

"We have 2 pens. We use one as a temporary fence for the backyard, and the other as the pup's "crate." They are of high quality (although the plastic handle fell off both). THey are also flexible- you can use as a fence, create your on shape pen, combine pens together, etc. One pen alone is really too small of an area for a play pen. I do think it is a bit pricey, especially since you need more than one for a decent play pen area."

Exercise Pens
|
Date: January 21, 2008
|
"I bought the exercise pen for my office. I take my great dane puppy to work every day and needed a way to contain him and to make him feel safe as well. The pen can be kept small or expand to larger as he grows. It is a wonderful idea to keep him from roaming in the office and getting into "trouble" and he likes to sleep inside because it feels safe to him. It has saved me from having to chase him down or keep my office door closed all the time to keep him in. It's big enough for him to play inside and he can see out to what's going on around him."

Great Setup
|
Date: January 20, 2008

"My puppy is just too wild to keep in the house all day. I would probably not have any shoes left if she did. I put a waterproof tarp under this pen and set it up in my garage. I can rearrange the shape and size easily and she has so much room to play! I attach the Precision kennel to the door opening and she has her bed in the kennel for coziness. So easy to fold up and move; heavy though, and the handle doesn't help too much. Great, sturdy product."

A must
|
Date: January 20, 2008

"I would also recommend this for owners of small dogs. I have a maltese/poodle mix puppy and he is currently 4 pounds. He will only grow to be 8 pounds and though its perfect now I can see it still being a wonderful play pen when he's fully grown. It is sturdy and my little guy has even learned how to jump in and out when I open the gate. Absolutely adorable! I work full time so the moment I leave he goes right in his pen area which is large enough for him to play in and roam about without me worrying about his safety while I'm gone. As someone else said.. it gives me the peace of mind I need knowing that he's protected while I'm gone. I also feel better knowing he's got more room to run around than a small crate. I'd somehow find that a bit inhumane. I was originally going to put him in a certain area of my apartment with a gate....but I'd recommend this over that idea to anyone else. You know exactly what is in his pen area and don't have to worry about him finding something that you didn't realize could be detrimental to his health."
