I found this item to be of great quality for the price. I'm very pleased with my purchase. While it did take her a bit to get used to it, now she's on it constantly. I'm glad we took the chance and made this purchase.

The cats really love it, but it needs more weight. The cats have knocked it over several times. It is easy to put together and was a great value.

Just Okay

This cat tree wouldn't be bad except for one thing. The base is too small and so the whole structure is wobbly. Otherwise, it went together easily and the price was reasonable. But it feels like it needs to have a big boulder sitting on the base to keep it stable.

This was easy to put together and a very good value for the money. Most cat trees are so expensive, but this one looks nice and was cheap!

Poor quality

I bought this cat tree because it most closely resembled the one my cats had in Virginia that I did not move down. Unfortunately it was nothing like the orignial meow town version. Max is affraid to climb it because it is flimisy and he is 18 lbs. The top is only supported by one support and is not as comfortable as the original was. This was a big mistake.

Although my cat liked this item, it didn't take long for it to fall apart, and it's not like my cat is that big, she is 12 pounds, but the top support broke off and the other connector did the same a few months later. Poor quality.

I wouldn't recommend it for a kitty over 11 pounds, unless you use extra weight or reinforcements.

Nice, cheap tree

This was easy to put together, I had no trouble whatsoever following the instructions and getting the tree up. It is unstable because the base isn't heavy enough, so a cat jumping on will cause it to fall over. I remedied this by stacking some heavy textbooks on the bottom but I plan on nailing it to some plywood in the future. My cats really like to hop on it and look out the window from their new height and it's nice and soft while they hang out too.
Very study, the smaller cat is about 8 lbs and her brother is almost 14 but the tree supports them both without a problem and they seem to feel stable on it. For the cheaper price it's worth stacking something heavy on the bottom, I'd say.

This cat tree is great for a small cat or kitten but not for me. I weigh 8 lbs and it is not sturdy. My owner had to put it in a corner and tie it to the wall.

Major design flaw - don't bother

The base is much too small and light for this unit.
My cat tipped it into the slider just jumping onto the lowest platform. Don't buy it unless you're handy enough to screw the base into a much larger piece of wood (which we did, in order to avoid a return nightmare).
Disappointing.

fair, maybe good for a docile cat. Does not have enough base weight, so the cats knock it over when they jump off of it.

Purchased online and very pleased with all aspects. The bottom platform keeps it stable when your cat jumps to the top tier to escape little dogs. The posts are well-covered with thick sisal and the platforms are a beautiful smoke grey. The top tier platform is padded nicely and the height is good for escaping those small dogs.

I wasn't expecting the world's best quality at this price but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was once it was out of the box. It can be wobbly for larger cats (my 16 pounder made it wobble) but it's not hard to adjust so that it is steadier against a wall if you have heavy cats. The instructions were clear to follow.

You get what you pay for, but it's not bad.

I was suspicious when this cat "tree" was priced so much lower than others I had seen the same size. I think the reason why it is priced so low is the construction. It is just sisal rope posts and carpeted flat pieces. It arrives in a small box and you have to assemble it. (Not hard to do, took me a whopping 5 minutes. No tools needed.) Other trees I have seen are sturdier and have thicker carpeting.
I agree with other reviewers that if a large cat gets to swinging on it, it will tip over. The base piece probably isn't big enough and causes the entire tree to be unstable. The carpet is not very thick and I can see how it won't last very long. However, my cat LOVES it. He likes the different heights of the shelves and he has been scratching the posts like crazy. (Sprinkling a little catnip over it when it first arrived didn't hurt!)
We go through one of these every couple of years. I didn't want to pay a lot for something that my cat is literally out to destroy! :) All in all, I would recommend it!
