I have a rott mix who is a rescue. She seems to have some sort of stomach issue-she is very gassy and any food I tried gave her runny/loose stools. The dog I had before, same breed/mix, did very well on Nutro Natural Choice. For my current dog, neither Nurtro nor Blue Buffalo helped with her bowel movements. The were just super soft/mushy, and often runny. Whole Earth Farms is the only food that has produced totally normal, solid, hard bowels and she LOVES it. Granted she gobbles up any food you put in front of her. But I love this food. It is much more affordable than other natural foods in it's class. Her gas has been reduced, but she still can clear a room, just not quite as often. I give her plain yogurt to aid with the gas. I would definitely recommend this food to anyone wanting an affordable natural food, and especially for any dog with any type of food allergy or stomach issue.

My oldest dog has hair issues. She's pretty much bald from her shoulder blades down. It just falls out more with each year. I had to kennell her for a few weeks & the guy that ran it, fed the dogs Merricks that didn't have food restirctions. When I picked her up, She had baby fuzz starting up all over her lower half. And her hair was fuller & softer. When I got her home, she wouldn't touch her normal dog food.
So Merricks is what I stick with it. It's decent priced for a holistic food, it's good for them ( I researched them after the kennell). & my dogs love it. I feed it to my other 2 dogs as well. The love food time. I fully recommend going to their website & checking it out. I Love thisfood!

I have heard from both private and chain pet store employee/owners that this is one of the best quality dog food in this price range, and my dogs are doing great on it.

I have 4 large dogs. One of them is a blind German Shepherd. Since she is blind, her sense of smell is what drives what she eats. I was feeding a venison based product but the price on it increased by $20 for a 30 lb bag and I could no longer afford to buy it. I tried a couple of other premium dog foods and she would turn her nose up and not eat. I saw this online and ordered it in hopes that she would eat it. She started eating it as soon as I put her bowl in front of her. So I am very happy to have a good quality food, a larger bag, a lower price and my GSD loves it.

My dogs tend to get tired of the same old food so I decided to try this one out as an alternate. Reasonable priced and good ingredients. The "kids" seem to really like it an have had no problems on it.

This food is wonderful our frenchie was having real allergy issue with his previous food within 2 days it is like he never had an allergy now I know this food is not for allergies however it has worked for himand he loves it and the ingredients are extra good for him. BUY THIS FOOD it is worth every penny!

It's the best "Bang-for-Your-Buck" & my dogs LOVE it. I feel so much better feeding them food that I KNOW is healthy & doesn't have all of the other "unknown" ingredients that most of the other more Popular Brands have. It's a keeper!

I tried this brand for my Tibetan Mastiff. Within a week his coat was shiny and full and he gained muscle mass etc.

To be candid I've only been feeding MWEF food for a week so it's to soon to say how I feel about it.....however my dogs eat it up...and I have a couple that can be very picky, so that's saying something.

I have been using Merrick brand dog food for 25 years. My dogs have all had long healthy lives. Another huge plus is that Merrick is ALL made in the USA. No imported questionable ingredients. Quality ingredients with a company that cares about a quality product. Would definatley recommend all their dog and cat food.

I needed a quality food at a reasonable price. My dogs were having allergic reactions last year and I started them on something with limited ingredients. It became so expensive, so I went back to the kind of food you can get in the grocery store. Worst decision I ever made! They both began to get ill before finishing even one whole bag of the stuff. By ill, I mean allergies, and refusing to eat the food.
I needed a quality food that was more affordable than the first brand, but not made out of whatever was making them sick. They both love the Merrick Whole Earth Farms. It's hard to find around here, so I ordered it online and it's great having it delivered to my door so I don't have to carry the big bags myself!
This is good food. You can trust giving this to your dogs if you need premium food for your best friends!

I have been feeding my six large breed companion dogs and any foster dogs I rescue Merrick canned foods and dry food (the Granny flavor) for more than seven years. I was laid off in July of 2012 and had to scale down as I have been going through a 30-lb, $65 bag of food every week. Bought this on line last month and the dogs actually PREFER this food. Less expensive, larger bags, healthy for them...so I don't need to sacrifice quality....and they have less waste and less gas. Win win for all. Highly recommended.

love that i can order this online...only one other store carries this brand of dog food and both petco and it are too far away for me to drive every 2-3 weeks to buy a bag...so ordering online and having it delivered is great.

This dog food is the only one I could find that I could feed all of our dogs. We have one dog who is allergic to carrots and apples, and another to peas. Our third dog will only eat Merrick and she is allergic to anything else--we've tried other brands and each time, after about two weeks, her allergies flare-up.

I have recommended this food to two friends and they have both been happy with it. Their dogs have developed healthier looking coats and do not shed near so much. In all cases the dogs are still eager to eat this food after having it for 3 months.

I bought this food for my picky Cocker because I trust Merrick and the ingredients are very good. I have been looking for some time for a dry food that he would eat by itself. He ate it readily the first time I fed it to him, but after that I had to go back to my routine of trying to find something to mix it with that he would eat for more than a week. It's a really good food, it's my dog that is difficult....

After extensive research, I found Merrick Whole Earth Farms..noted for it's high quality ingredients. As I started the long process of price comparing high quality dog foods, Whole Earth at Petco was the best deal around. I started the repeat delivery of two 35 lb. bags every eight weeks. As an added bonus, those very large bags are delivered right up on our porch! It feels good that I can feed our pet a HIGH quality food, at an AFFORDABLE price...all those hours googling really paid off!! Quick delivery, too...very satisfied.

I have been feeding my two German Shepherds this food since they moved to adult dog food, and they absolutely love it. It leaves their coats soft and shiny, they love the way it tastes, it doesn't give them gas, and best of all it's a great value. As a treat, I will sometimes mix in a bit of the canned version of this dog food, which they also love. Can't go wrong with Merrick Whole Earth Farms.
