Dents

The order arrived on time, however, I had several cans that were dented. I tried one can and my cats refused to eat it. I called and was able to exchange the cans at a local store with my receipt. I did notice the Grammy's line was damaged in the store as well. UPS must not like this brand since they beat up the boxes!

I decided to try grain free and I'm happy I switched to Merrick. You can see the vegetables in the food. It was also difficult to find a canned food that all three of my cats loved, but they all love the Merrick turducken , thanksgiving dinner, and Grammy's pot pie.

Depends on your cat's taste; one cat loves it and the other thinks it's body waste

After getting a second cat I needed to find a good quality grain free canned food that is less expensive than what I was feeding my first cat. Although I'm satisfied with the ingredients in this compare to some other brands, whether my cats will eat it or not is an important factor.
The newer cat will eat anything, like "Mikey" in the old cereal commercial... So of course he loves this canned food. My older cat is very finicky, and for 2 days has not only refused to eat this food, but each time she approaches her food bowl with this food in it she tries to cover it like body waste with imaginary cat litter, and then walks to the kitty litter pan and sniffs it as though checking that she covered her body waste. It's comical to watch, and she does this every time. Sadly, there is only one brand of canned food that she will eat, so if she continues to refuse eating this I'll have to buy that brand for her and this brand for "Mikey". In the meantime I give her a little bit of the Merrrick grain free dry chicken cat food.

Older cat would only eat this

When our 19 yo Empress Stella was in her last years, this was the only food she would still eat and even at that late stage, her coat was still the softest I have ever felt. My current 8 month kittens however, were not as thrilled with it. It is pricey. Even though cost is nearly the same, my current kitties prefer Wellness, which has more texture choices also.

Excellent Food! My cat loves it!

I feed my cat a high protein dry food for most meals, but she gets canned food three evenings a week. I had been feeding her a well known national brand canned food, thinking it was good for her, only to find it was terribly high in carbs. That explained why my cat was getting fatter and fatter. I was basically feeding her macaroni and cheese three nights a week!
Then I found Grammy's Pot Pie, and what a difference! My fat cat is eating less, is never hungry, and is losing weight! Why? Simple. This food is high protein, moderate fat, and very low carb. Remember that cats are strict carnivores, so their digestive systems cannot process carbs; it just turns to fat.
My cat loves this food. She goes bananas when it's "Grammy's night!" I highly recommend this food!
