I got this when i had my first goldfish in a bowl. then i got a 5 gallon tank and i had this in it. Now i have a 20 gallon tank and the chest is in it and it looks great. This is a great price and value! And anyway if all the paint somehow happens to peel off i will get another one because this is an awsoem chest!

I bought the small one and I've had it for 3 years now. The paint has come all the way off and I'm left with a gray treasure chest. It used to look awesome, but now it's all one solid color except for a tiny bit of gold on a few of the coins. I didn't even realize how colorful it use to be until I saw it again in the store. Very disapointed for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
