5 Months After Purchase.

I bought this coop because it was what I could find in the area at the time, it looked nice and was actually rather simple to put together even though there were a few bits of hardware missing from the box. No complaints at the time because it was simple and cheap to replace the hardware. 5 months later, the wood is in horrible shape. The wind guard on the side is bowing from the normal wear and tear from the weather and the pan is rusting as well as the two latches to open the door. The wood on the door is warping. I will soon put more weather sealant on the wood to get me through the rest of the year, but don't think that this is hardly a good value considering the problems I am having after 5 months. Look around and find something better for your money.

Works, but has some issues

I have been using this as a chicken coop for my 2 hens for 6 months. I know NOTHING about using tools, but was able to put this together just fine. All the holes lined up after a friend pointed out that one part was in upside down. There are 2 issues. One is that the wire on the bottom of the cage must be meant for rabbits, because chicken poo just doesn't go through. It worked fine when they were young, but not now. Also the lid is not rain proof. The plywood on top has roofing paper but the frame around the top does not and leaks rain. I still like it for my use, though.

Great Value Hutch!

This was an excellent bargain for a fairly well made hutch. I had no trouble putting it together with a regular screwdriver, not sure if the other reviewer's hutch was defective but I had an easy time with mine and I am no carpenter! Size is perfect for my 2 hens and the full opening front is very handy.

Chicken coop

Good look, but incredible hard to put together. I in fact had to drill holes for the screws because the holes didn't line up and the top is practically worthless as far as attaching to the main structure. Poor design altogether but if you have a good drill you can make it work. The top is absolutely unattachable unless you design a bridge ro something to make it fit. But, is sits fine and is heavy so you don't have to really worry about it. Would I recomend yes and no. If you've got some carpentry skills then yes if not - no, go somewhere else.
