These diapers have totally saved us. I just measured around her belly, as I did not think buying by weight was going to work. They fit great, no leaking... a perfect solution for my "old" dog.

My dog is now 15 years old and like most people / animals when they get older they have issues in the incognent department. I was getting more and more frustrated with the situation, even contemplating the unthinkable. I found these diapers in Petco and now I can honestly say we are back to normal at my house thank god for such a great idea for our pets. I hope to have her around another 15 years.

too small!

These things run really, really small! I thought a medium would be enough for my beagle sized dog, but I had to go up to large and they still aren't big enought! My dog only weights 40 lbs. Very frustrating, seeing as I've spent nearly $40 so far. Does a beagle sized dog really need an extra large? Really??

We we're looking for a solution for our 14 year old husky's incontinence and so we decided to shop doggie diapers at Petco in Orland Park, IL. Unfortunately there was only one brand to choose from? The brand is Simple Solution Diapers--they cost over $20 for just 1 dozen! The size description put our medium to smaller sized (54 lbs) husky into the X-large and it boasted that these would even fit a full grown German Shepherd. Well they didn't work--they were way to small and didn't go up his back at all--they kept falling off! We even tried cutting a larger hole slit for the tail so we could push them higher up his back. Bottom line is they don't fit or do what they say they are supposed to do.

I have a 1 year old boxer female who is 47 lbs with a 21 inch waist and the larges don't fit at all. They didn't have xlarge in the store & the larges are not large. The tail hole doesnt allow ANY of her tail to come out and the little tabs rip easily.

For a long-haired Sheltie, we need to use the next larger size: extra large for a 45-lb dog, because of all the fur
