don't get for sugar gliders

I'm sure this is a great toy for ferrets, but if you're looking at it and thinking "I bet my sugar gliders would like that"... don't bother. My gliders never even got to try it out - it went right back to the store as soon as I got a look at the stitching on it.

The pirate ship is a favorite hangout for my ferrets! I have 5 fuzzies, and I have seen 4 in there on several accounts. Usually 2 boys and 2 girls, with one of my boys being left out. I hang it in my Ferret Nation at the very top and it's great to walk up and see their little faces poking out, or sometimes just a tail! The only complaint I have about this product is that the flag fell out within the first few weeks, and it is now lost, but no big deal!! I have had the pirate ship for close to two years now, and it has weathered many machine washes. It's clearly worn, but everyone still loves it!

Favorite Bed Ever!

My three ferrets have gone through some beds/hammocks and the pirate ship is their most favorite and has also lasted the longest! There is a plastic sheet that comes out of the zipper on the bottom, and I believe that is what makes the bed hold up longer. The adjustable straps are very handy so pretty much no matter where you hang it, it fits. All three of them will sleep in there at the same time! I don't keep the flag on mine though because seemed like they would be able to get it out easily.

This is perfect for the cage and for the ground if your ferrets aren't caged. It's easy to wash which is good because the ferts are always using it! I put it right next to the Octoplay and it's even cuter!

admittedly i bought this because i thought it was all kinds of awesome. i was worried that my boys wouldn't be interested. turns out, they love it! marco and diego pile in there and snuggle for hours. it's quite funny to see. they've completely abandoned their previous snuggle-center, a Finn the Human hat. i recommend it.

My rats love this hammock. It's so cute to see all of them sleeping in it, and the fact that it's a pirate ship is just that much cuter. Only downside is that they chewed through the hanging straps this came with, so I had to replace them with stronger ropes.

My furry pirates love it ! You can use it inside or outside the cage, its washable, its sure cute and don't forget about the cute pirate tshirt ! It makes adorable pirate photos ! This is awesome !
