My cat does not like her whiskers to touch the bowl. She would only eat the top layer and then begin to beg for more. This bowl is very small but it is nice and shallow so my kitty is now a clean bowler. It will hold a little over 1/2 cup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I HAD several of these bowls for my four cats but my dog, currently on medication and therefor eating everything in sight, chewed the heck out of them so they had to be thrown away. I am debating if I want to get the same ones again or go for stainless steel so my dog cannot chew them up (thinking more safety than just losing the bowl). The price, however, is great!
The nice thing about these bowls is they are super easy to clean, even after scraps of wet food dries on them over night. And, because the sides and front are low, my cats have no problem getting their food without whiskers becoming a problem or the wet food getting mashed down. I would not recommend using them for water, for obvious reasons. And, if your cat is as messy as one of mine is, I wouldn't even recommend using these bowls for dry food, simply because of the lower sides which allows dry food to easily get pushed out so much so that my dogs eagerly sit below the cat feeding shelf just waiting for dry food to spill over.

I like how this bowl is tapered so that one side is a bit lower than the other. I wouldn't put water in it, but wet and dry food is fine. I use dry food for this bowl.

Bought a few of these for my kittens. The regular sized bowls are too deep for my girls, so I tried these. They work great and are super inexpensive. Definitely worth purchasing.
