FANTASTIC Food for Finicky Pups

So we have 4 Chihuahuas - 2 teacup and 2 "regular" size. I made the mistake of putting them on canned food right after each joined our family. Of course, they all loved it - and none of them wanted to switch over to dry food. (Although they were fed canned food twice a day, kibble was available 24/7.)
Even though all 4 are different sizes and therefore have somewhat different nutritional needs, the canned food/kibble combo seemed to satisfy everyone's nutritional needs & palate, rather well. When I decided to put our doggies on kibble only, their protests did not go unnoticed. (Trust me!) I could not get them to all agree on any one food. We'd find one that 3 would eat but the 4th wouldn't touch. I felt like I had tried everything - so with only a few choices left on the market, and a few dollars left in the bank, I sought out the opinion of our vet. Thank goodness I did!
She recommended Bil-Jac for several reasons: the size and shape are different than the standard round pellet, it is a little softer for dogs to chew, easy on the tummy, and the taste seems to be a favorite. The vet was absolutely right! All 4 of our dogs went CRAZY for it!
The price point seems to be a couple of dollars more than other foods at the same size...but that's just fine with me! These guys are thrilled with the food and tend to each a lot more than other food left in their bowl. Their stools are soft and regular - which doesn't always happen on other kibble. If they would spill their old food it would sit on the floor until I cleaned it up. Not Bil-Jac! Any little squiggles that find their way out of the bowl are magically (and quickly!) swept up by the Chihuahua vacuums. One of our teacups has even developed an "inability to share" her food - which was never an issue before.
Their coats are soft and shiny, they have lots of energy bright eyes, and all of them are right on target weight-wise. We accidentally ran out of food while waiting for this order to arrive (totally my fault - I didn't estimate correctly) so I got them a bag of the food they used to eat. What a difference! No one was excited about eating - and for the first time in a long time I was able to easily pour their food from the bag into their bowl. Usually I have at least 2 little creatures, nipping at my ankles and "helping" while I try to pour the food. Not so with the other food!
I think we are all glad the Bil-Jac arrived. :) Everyone dug in and gobbled down the first bowl...just as excitedly as the play with a favorite toy that's been stuck under the couch for awhile. Bil-Jac rocks!

I have an 18 week old Havanese. We were transistioning her to a hoilstic puppy food and once on it 100%she would not eat it. Bil-Jac was recommended by the sales person she gave me a free sameple. I put a small amount in her bowl and she scarfed it up, just to see I then put a small amount of the other brand in and she sniffed it put a piece in her mouth and spit it out. Too funny!!!
So I put the rest of the Bil-Jac in and she didn't leve her bowl til gone.
She is also teething so I think the softness of Bil-Jac helped from the harder dry food of the other brand.
Also, I put a piece of Bil-Jac and a piece of the other brand in water and found the Bil-Jac dissolved in the water andthe other did not. Which means in their stomach Bil-Jac is more digestable.

I have very picky eaters and because their small, I have to be careful what food I get them. Bil-Jac is the ONLY dry food they will eat. I feed this to them for dinner. My two 9 week old Teacup Maltese & Morkie, I feed a small 1/2 cup in the afternoon.

I got the Bil Jac Small Breed Puppy Food and our two Norfolk Terrier puppies loved that food. Previously I used the frozen meat from Bil Jac and the dry is much easier but I also add some warm water on the food. I also you the dry food puppy food in my pockets for their treats to training.
