"I haven't had any issues with the filter door falling open or urine leaking out of the sides. Maybe I haven't had this long enough, maybe it's because my cat is a squatter when he urinates, whatever the case this thing is working out great. My apartment has never been this close to odor free. It's hard to tell I even have a cat. The kidney shaped box is kind of annoying, especially when putting bags into it, but it's necessary to keep with the rounded box. This is also much more pleasing to look at than most litter boxes. Being that I have little extra room in my home everyone sees this and comment on how awesome it is. Several friends have expressed interest in purchasing one. I'd recommend it, just make sure you have a squatter before you buy. Also, I haven't had much issue with litter scatter since I swapped out."
