"We have tried many different boxes for our 3 cats. This one is by far our favorite and the cats seem to really like it as well. Very easy to clean, just pop off the top. Hard lid keeps our youngest cat from bugging the older cats when they are inside. "

"One of my kitties was occasionally getting to close to the end of her litter box and peeing outside on the floor. This litter box ended that and my cats took to it really fast. Now I even have alot less litter on the floor. This is the best box I have ever purchased and not as expensive as some that I bought in the past."

"It helps collect a lot of left over litter that my kittens drag out. But I do not recommend this for kittens with CH. I thought it would be good because it's easy to get in to, but it's difficult for them to get out of the litter and onto the steps again. But maybe when they're bigger it'll be good for them. But it's a good buy. Also, don't bother using liners on it because it's such a pain to make it fit perfectly on it because the pan part is kidney bean shaped. It's just a pain."

"I had my doubts about how well this would work, considering that I have 3 cats that have less than skilled hygeine skills. My cats took to this immediately with no problem, and the smell from the old littler box was gone within about 48 hours. I also didn't expect the steps to do much about keeping litter in the box, since my cats will just jump over things like that, but it really does work. I'm so glad that I bought this one! PS - If PetCo is having an online sale, print out the item and price, and stores should honor the online sale price."

"I purchased this about a year ago now, and I still love it. It keeps the litter and the smell in. My cats have privacy. It is plenty big for my two cats. Easy to keep clean, and it looks great. To the guest in my house it looks more like my cats play house than a litter box. I keep a rug under it so when my cats step out- the litter on their paws stay on the rug and does not end up all over my house. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a litter box."

"This box is a huge improvement over the standard litter boxes I have used in the past. I have one very large, very messy kitty who just so happens to love hanging out in the box and digging. In old boxes there was litter all over the entire room I kept it in which made for nasty daily cleanups. While this box does not entirely prevent any litter tracking it has greatly reduced the amount and the area in which litter is tracked. Plus big boy can dig to his heart's content and the majority stays right in the box or on the steps. I was a little bit worried about accidents on the steps based on other reviews from people with large cats, but that has not been a problem at all. Both my cats had no problem adjusting to the walk up immediately. Quality product."

"Good box, but I have 3 cats and either they are to tall or lazy but they go on the side of the wall. Which then gets threw the crack of the top and the bottom. It gets really messy. But the stairs work really good."

Keeps Odors In!

"I purchased one Booda (the only one left) from a local pet shop and decided to get another online. I have 2 kittens that have litter boxes upstairs and downstairs. The last litter boxes I had were also large, covered boxes, with swinging doors, yet the odor was not retained well. Additionally, the kittens kept dragging way too much litter out of the box with them.
The Booda keeps the litter in the box much better with the little steps designed in the box. They do require more frequent cleaning because of the smaller sized area that actually holds the litter, but having a fresher smelling litter box pays off! I have crafted a small, light, cardboard "door" that attaches to the front of the litter boxes (I used the actual tag that comes with the litter box, flipped it around, so I don't have to see the advertising, and it does the trick. Then cut out additional "doors" with flimsy cardboard for replacements). Keeping the entry way completely open still allows for more odors to escape."

"First the good: this box does a pretty OK job of containing litter if you have a wild digger or a high-tracking litter. Plus, it has a somewhat unusual/appealing design to it.
Now for the less than good: it does a JUST OK job of containing litter, probably no better than a regular box with one of those "track pads" under it.
The footprint of this box is enormous, even though the actual area for litter is pretty small. Also, because it's rounded, it doesn't fit well into a corner, or much of anywhere else.
The design of the box has led to one of my cats getting confused and regularly pooping on the steps instead of in the litter.
Finally, the compartment for the air filter kept falling open, until finally we just got rid of it.
We're going back to a more "traditional" covered box."

"I got this box for my 2 kittens, knowing that I wanted a closed box and that this was the only one they'd be able to get into because of the track pad ramp. The track pad is great; hardly any litter gets out of the box! I also notice no odor whatsoever and have only had to clean once a day so far. The lid is easy to put on and off, so cleaning it's a breeze! The only thing I will suggest is not using litter liners; they don't fit correctly in this box and make it harder to fit the lid all the way on the way it's supposed to."
