Prevue Hendryx Bird Cage Delivers!

I am about to get 2 Cockatiels from an Aviary and needed a great high quality bird cage that is stylish, roomy, and matched my living room which this Prevue Hendryx Deluxe Bird Cage does and does it very well. I ordered the Large cage and it is huge! I cannot stress that enough. The metal material is amazingly high quality. It comes with all the screws you need to put this together which is pretty easy to do in a couple hours. It was also nice that they sent a paint brush and paint in a slim bottle incase of scratches to the paint job.
This is by no means a cheap bird cage, but it was worth every penny in my opinion. I look at it like furniture and blends in well in my living room. Your birds will love it as well. There is alot of room to put in a bird bed, wood/concrete perches, and all kinds of toys for your bird to play with. It also features 3 cups for food and water that can all be replaced from the outside of the cage without opening the front.
The wheels make this cage very portable and easy to move around the home if needed.
I highly recommend this bird cage.
I do feel the Large size is intended for larger birds like the Macaws or African Grey, but still good for smaller birds if you will house 2 or more in this size cage. Otherwise I would suggest the Medium size.
One thing you may want to be warned about is the shipping. It is delivered in 2 seperate boxes (atleast speaking for the Large cage) and was sent FedEx Home Delivery (which left it at my door) & FedEx Ground (which did not leave it). The 2nd box came Ground due to being over 70lbs (77lbs to be exact) and was a pain dealing w/ FedEx to retrieve it. Would have been nice if Petco would have stated this item would come in different boxes. It would have made more sense and a convienence to the customer to ship both boxes by FedEx Ground, but I assume it was done this way to save a buck or two. Do not attempt to go pick this up at a FedEx office unless you have a truck or SUV because it willl not fit into the backseat or trunk of a Sedan or Coupe.
Hope this review was helpful to any that reads it. Your pet bird will appreciate this cage and ability to spread it's wings inside of it when unable to come out and play with you. ;)
