Got the 36" crate for 41-70lbs. My Sharpei/Lab is 55lbs and he barely fits lengthwise,or heightwise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is just OK for one medium sized dog. I found the floor was made of a flimzy plastic and doesn't hold it's shape when trying to empty refuse. Unfortunately it was very messy for me and my new puppies. Another disadvantage is that it only has one door along with a divider, I had planned on using it to transport two pups but had no way to let the other relieve itself without removing both rom the crate at once.

I have always been a big fan of these crates. They're very easy to set up and take down and last a very long time. I recommend them to every one. Love when I happen to catch them on sale. Great product, and value.

This particular cage is missing a 'clip' to keep the front & side together. It's not a major issue & may just be the particular cage I received. I fixed it with a couple of twist ties, which Reily leaves alone. It is holding without a problem (this is not the cage he sleeps in). He is a strong dog, but hasn't been able to shake the cage.

I absolutely love this crate , no tools for assembly ... The only thing that bothered me was the lack of email response on tracking my order .. I never knew when or where the product was being shipped from or when it would arrive , just when I arreived home I had a note saying undeliverable by UPS note so had to wait an extra day .. But all in all I love Petco's customer service and products .. I wish they could tell me if coming from my Braselton location instead of out of state ....

This is a great crate, for a great price. It was so easy to set up that my kids did it as soon as it arrived. It comes with a convenient divider, so that you can make the crate smaller for a puppy, and remove it as the dog grows.
I would recommend this to a friend!

my only complaint with this crate is the description for it written online. when i received the box, it had suggested small breeds to use the crate for. i just wish they put the same description online, because i would have ordered one size up. i can't even use the divider b/c it's smaller than i wanted

It has 2 latches so the door stays securely closed. The 36" long crate has plenty of room for my 8 month old Corgi. If you're unsure about crate sizes, get the bigger one and section it off with the divider that comes with it. Especially if you know that your dog is going to get bigger. It's a great feature to have.

We recently adopted a Golden Retriever mix who was 8 months old. We decided it would be important for her to feel secure in her new surroundings. We ordered this crate and it came promptly. It was easy to assemble and our dog took to it immediately. It has plenty of room for growth.

I bought this product because I honestly couldn't find a better deal, on this same product, at any other stores. There was a special going on...but I do think it is disappointing that the stores don't have a wider selection because the shipping took FOREVER. Anyway, this is a product review...It came boxed and I was nervous about putting it together. But I was soon relieved because it is so easy! You really just pull it up and lock it into place. It is a simple concept and it can be easily stored when not in use. Currently using it to train my puppy who will get much bigger (lab). It's the perfect size and we shouldn't have to buy a bigger one in the future.

This has been a great crate for our dog. It isn't really a heavy weight crate and our dog is a happy crate dog, so she doesn't try to bust out of it. The size is good, it assemble easy. I'd buy another for sure.

I have multiple dog crates and I think this is a very good one and reasonably priced. I think for large dog the corner rods would be better, but this works great for what I need.

This crate is quite large and is very sturdy. It will be great for my lab mix who is coming back in the house! YAY! Very easy to set up. If you need a large breed crate, this is the one!

This is a great crate, it's really sturdy but my dog was able to get out of it relatively easily. She was able to actually unlatch the door and let herself out. We are able to still use the crate, but we have to put a padlock on the door so that she doesn't get out and destroy the house while we're not home. Granted, if your dog is used to being crated then you probably won't have this problem, but if you have an escape artist like we do then you may want to consider something with a little more complex latching system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
