The Prong Collar has made such a difference when we walk our pit bull. She consistently would pull but with the prong collar a little tug & she is back walking where she is supposed to. The collar looks intimidating but she is comfortable with it & it is such a help!

The links are very very hard to remove if you need to shorten the collar. I also felt it was very difficult to get on my dog and hook into place. I ended up buying a different one from another store that had a release latch.

I have a 70 pound 5 month old puppy who almost yanked my arm off while we were walking and he spotted a plastic bag being carried by the wind. I have tried training classes, various dog training collars and Harrnesses on my puppy and nothing would make him stop pulling. I thought this collar was cruel and it was my last option, so i decided to use my last option.... and WOW! I saw the difference the first time I put it on my puppy and we went for a walk. This collar is amazing. My puppy's tail was wagging and we had the best walk and I look foward to many more pleasant walks together. I highly recommend this collar, it will NOT harm your dog.

I never believed the prong collar would work as well as it did. They always looked cruel. But these collars are amazing for training. I never had such well trained dogs before using the prong collar.

i tried many different types of collars and harnesses to walk my 50 pound black mouthed cur. he pulled me once so badly that i am now in a hand cast. i needed to figure out a way to keep him and be able to handle him on walks. on the advice of my daughter,, who has one of these collars for her 4 yr old 100 lb chocolate lab, i got one... i read all the reviews and did research and this is what i decided on... i'm so glad i did. first time out was a wonderful experience for both me and barkley... slack leash, no pulling and wagging tail... the last was barkley. if you have a puller i totally recommend this collar... being welded makes it even stronger and better...

The pronged collar itself is great for training, but I ordered a Large for my 75 pound puppy as indicated on the sizing chart, but when I got it in the mail, it was WAY TOO SMALL. I ended up returning it and buying pretty much the same exact one at another store, that was a size Medium and it fit him great. Don't buy online...make sure the collar is it's true size!

Purchased this training collar for my 100 lb German Shephard, only to find out that the collar is too small (after I had removed all of the tags). There isn't a larger one, and you cannot buy extra links by themselves.

We have a Goldendoodle that is going to be a big boy and he was taking me on walks. I had a trainer suggest I get a prong collar to help him "listen", so I did and I could hardly believe the difference it made. He still wants to pull but a sharp tug and he slows right down. I used to be of the understanding these collars were evil but have since changed my mind. The dog is not uncomfortable in the least. Only thing I would change is the strength of the metal, I have arthritis and find it very hard to get the collar on and off. We now can enjoy our walks thanks to the new prong collar!

I bought this collar so my 2 year old boxer will stop pulling me when I take him out on the leash. We tried the choke collar that is basically just a chain and that did not work at all. He kept pulling and I was afraid it would suffocate him. But the prong collar worked the first time we used it and his walks are more enjoyable for both of us. I didn't give the rating a 5-"paw" because the collar is a little difficult to put on and take off. I have to turn it inside out every time and sometimes it doesn't turn right away. But overall, love the product!

We got this collar about a week ago and the only reason I'm not giving it an excellent rating is because it is very hard to take the prongs apart to adjust the collar. We had to really break ours in with pliers to be able to use it. Now that we can adjust it, our dog seems to be doing much better. He's hardly pulling at all and I have better control over him now. I would highly recommend using one of these for those that are opposed to shock collars. I do wish they were easier to adjust though.

I have a 90 pound American Bulldog puppy with superhuman strength. I used to dread taking him for walks because he would practically rip my arm out of its socket anytime he saw a person, dog, squirrel, leaf etc... The first time I put the pronged collar on him he was a totally different dog and I could not believe the difference. I am a believer and I will never walk another dog without this collar! Now I can walk my dog anywhere, anytime without worrying about how he'll act and all in all it's a much better time for the both of us!

I have a 1yr old german shepherd puppy and I had the hardest time taking her for a walk. She would pull me every where and I thought she was going to always be like this. I tried the choke chain and gave up. I than recently went to Petco looking for a solution. I was going to get the facial collar that is supposed to stop the dog pulling, but the dog trainer there showed us the chain prong collar and we thought it wouldn't hurt to try it, so we bought it. I was so excited to put it on her and so I used it right away. When walking with the chain prong collar on her she stopped pulling right away. She did yelp from the shock of the collar, but than she learned to stop pulling and the 2nd day in and she walks so good on the leash its so amazing. I've showed her off to my neighbors and they were shocked...I would totally recommend this collar to anyone having issues with their dog pulling on the leash.

Collars work as intended. Is helping teach my 2 labs the proper method of walking, not pulling. Just have to be careful of prongs when they walk crazy

i have used this product for many years i used it on 14 100lbs pitbulls, a german shepard/st. bernard and a pure bred st. bernard i recommend this to everyone. the are reliable and the do not hurt the animal unlike chain chockers do.

I got one for my dog because she pulls like a freight train and a trainer recommended it. We both hated it so I threw it away and got an Easy Walk Harness. Which is the best thing I ever did we both enjoy walks now. DO NOT BUY IT!! IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY AND CRUEL TO YOUR DOG!!
