This feeder is much more popular with the birds than a nyger sock. I've had both large and small socks and the birds do use them, but they overwhelmingly prefer this feeder. Plus this feeder keeps the seed dryer and is comes totally apart for easy cleaning. This feeder will also last a lot longer than a sock. Great product.

Very well made. My finches will not use it. Hoped to have 2 feeders but they only use the old one. Maybe later.
