This toy is guaranteed to make my cats go crazy (in a good way). They chase after it, do backflips over each other to get to it, etc. Highly recommended!

For the price, there is absolutely nothing that beats this toy. In fact, even if it was a lot more expensive, there's nothing that beats this toy! My cat will chase it until she is physically unable to move from exhaustion. She pants. She jumps. She slides. She zigs. She zags. She rests...then she does it all over again. Whoever invented this toy, which probably costs about $0.05 to make, is a genius.

Besides the "Cat Powered" mouse toy, this is the only other toy my fussy kitty loves. It is just a wire with 3 tightly rolled cardboard cylinders on one end and 1 cylinder on the other. It bounces erratically, which my cat loves as it is unpredictable. You can bounce it in the air to play with your cat. For independent play, leave it on the floor, or hook it on a door handle. After alot of use, you need to replace it as the cardboard breaks down - my kittly loves to bite it, but at $2.99, it is well worth it and very affordable.

This is about the 8th or 9th one of these toys we have bought as our cats just adore playing with it... the springy action is great exercise for them and the little cardboard tassels on one end are the right size and shape for claws and teeth. My arm wears out before the cats do.. lol...

This is a surprisingly tough and entertaining toy, holding many hours of play within, flipping, rolling and jumping. That entertainment is two fold, she's happy, therefore I'm happy.

The cat dancer is one of the best toys i've ever owned. I had one quite a few years ago, I lost it in a move. I looked and looked and could not find another one. I was so excited when i saw on website (i ordered more than one) Ive owned cats for over 15 years and have never seen a better toy! Even my older cat who doesnt play as much anymore is excited to play! You have to get one!

I'm very impressed. This is the cheapest, simplest cat toy you'll find and it's amazing. All three cats play together, but I'm especially pleased with how Polly loves it. She's never played with a toy before, and as soon as she met this one, she was suddenly an acrobat. She will go get it and bring it to me! The cool part is you hardly have to move it, and figure out what they'll like like you have to with feather toys. It just bobs on its own. Kind of reminds me of a moth, the way it moves (which you know cats love to chase) I can lay and watch tv for 30 minutes not even looking at them, holding it and they'll keep occupied. And it's just cardboard on the end but it's extremely durable. They say you have to throw it away if it breaks but why? Just put something else on the end! Or more cardboard!

My cats really enjoy this toy, they even play with it without me. They like to hold one end in their mouth and chase the other end around the house, it's so cute. And it's also surprising very durable!

My cats LOVE this toy. All three will play excitedly when I wave and twirl it around them. I leave this toy out, stuck in between two couch cushions so that it bounces on the floor and my kitten plays with this toy ALL the time. Sometimes even suddenly running into the room and attacking it-which is hilarious btw!!

My cat went crazy for this as soon as I took it out. She will run around in circles and jump for ages. It is a popular toy for a reason.
I feel the negative reviews on here are from people who weren't using it right. It took me a minute to figure out that you're supposed to manipulate it to look like a bug flying around the room, not trail it on the floor. It does make my arm tired but for exercising and entertaining my cat it is great.

Syd is old and doesn't like toys anymore but as soon as she got a look at this her eyes lit up and she attacked it. She actually played with it for a couple of minutes which is unheard of.

This is a simple and cheap (pricewise) toy that my cats seem to enjoy. They love gnawing on the cardboard things on the end. There's not as much "chase" involved as there is with their wand toys, but this is a nice change up to those... The wire bounces in a way different from any other toy we use.

I have been looking for this product and found it. One of my cats used to sleep alot and not like playing with other cat toys. Like the feather kind. When I got this he played and played and I got all excited to see how happy he was. Now he is active and wants to play. Thank you for this product. My cats love it.

I remembered the Cat Dancer from over 20 years ago with our old cats who also loved it, and I was a little skeptical, could this simple wire really amuse my cat? Yes, this old tried-and-true toy is still magic! As soon as I pick it up, my cat is charmed, keeping her eyes on it and getting ready to stalk and pounce. It actually makes her dance, jumping and leaping. She also likes to play with this toy on her own, batting it around on the floor and carrying it around. These typically last about 2 months or so because the cardboard gets chewed up and loose, or falls out.

My cat loves chasing things, and the cat dancer is definitely one of his favorites. We play with it together, or he plays with it alone, throwing it up in the air and chasing it around the room. You can also dangle this toy from a piece of furniture so that your can can play with it when you are not home. The tip of this toy has irregular movements, similar to that of a fly or some other insect. Definitely a great buy for an active cat!
