"My cats have a highly refined sense of taste (or maybe they're just really picky) and will only eat seafood flavors of wet food and not just any flavors either. They love the Proplan tuna, Sardines and Tuna (although I think they eat around the sardines) and the ocean whitefish and salmon combo. Those are the only flavors that I've found that they'll eat."

Good quality cat food

"My cat has been eating Purina Pro Plan (chicken, chicken & liver, turkey & giblets, turkey & rice) for 4 years with no health problems, not even urping. Her first year of life she had a few bouts of cystitis which (my vet suggested) was caused by sub-par food that did not have enough pure protein. She told me to shop for quality wet food and to make sure that in the first 3 ingredients, at least one was pure chicken or turkey or beef, and to stay away from seafood. Once I switched her to Pro Plan, she never had another bout of cystitis. This was also true with dry food -- first 3 ingredients MUST include pure chicken (NOT corn meal, barley, soy, chicken fat!). The closer REAL chicken or turkey is to the very FIRST ingredient, the better the food for her. Pro Plan is a keeper !"

"After trying just about every quality wet food out there, my cats have decided -- Paws Down! -- that the ONLY food they'll eat and LOVE every time is Pro Plan... in particular: Tuna Entree in Sauce... that sauce sure is yummy!"

The Only Soft Food She Will Eat!

"I have a female cat named Zoe who is about 12 years old. A year ago she had all her molars removed. This necessitates feeding her soft food which she can lick. The only one she will consistently eat is Pro Plan. In fact, she begs for it. She likes all their flavors as long as they are ground. I tried everything! (All the organic kinds.) I thought I would have to settle with Dick Van Patton's food (which she would sometimes not eat) or cook her food myself. Then I went down the next aisle at Petco and found Pro Plan. It was a last ditch effort. She eats it room temperature or cold. She eats it all. I can't explain why this is so. What a relief to finally find something that she will eat and keep down!"

Yummy Yummy for My Tummy!!

"Okay... yummy for the feline tummy. All varieties, thus far, have been a hit as long as its ProPlan. Purrfect size portions so no leftovers to add mysterious odors to the fridge. Looks appetizing to human eyes, too; although, I'll leave this one to the cat, as he loves it so."

"All 4 of my indoor cats love this food! Meatloaf consistency with just the right amount of juice to keep the picky eater happy. The can is just the right size for a meal each and it does not smell too bad for the owner. A great combination with Pro Plan dry food. My cats range in age from approximately 5 to 15 and their weights, coats and overall health have been the best since switching to Pro Plan!"

ProPlan Salmon and Rice Formula

"Thelma, Louise, and Rocky, all rescued cats, have indicated strongly that the "only" canned food they will eat is ProPlan Salmon and Rice. A can of ProPlan is just the right size serving and contains their favorite yummy juices. For some cases of ProPlan they turn their noses up and ignore. I wonder if ProPlan has good quality control for taste consistency when this happens. I've tried other brands, but ProPlan is still their number 1 preference. "
