Poor Quality Food

"Had my dog on this for awhile - she had been on another brand but decided to try ONE because it is widely available. Her coat was poor on this food and she "went" more often. Also did some research on food and found that menadione has been linked to liver toxicity and a host of other nasty things. Switched the dog immediately to another food and she is doing much better."

Just the food I was looking for!!

"My two year old APBT "Pit Bull" absolutely loves this food. I adopted her a couple of months back. Her foster parent had her on "Royal Canin", what a waste at $45 a bag. My dog would hardly touch it, she ate it because thats all there was. I started her on Purina Lamb and rice a couple weeks back and she literally devours it, and comes back begging for more. I do feed her about a quarter cup extra than recommended....shes spoiled but she gets plenty of excersize. I dont notice any excess weight, she is very lean. When it comes to feeding time she sits back and I can see it in her eyes food, food, FOOD!!Its hilarious, I would highly suggest this food."

Finally a GOOD food he LOVES ! ! !

"I have a 4yr old Italian Greyhound named Dolce. I call him Baby Molchina...anyways he was driving me crazy for a long time becasue all he would eat was Kibbels and Bits and yes I know it is not good for him becasue it is high in sugar....and to make matters worse he would only eat some kinds of it, knowing him the meat part only....so I switched to manny diffrent GOOD and Healthy kinds of Dog Food, price was no matter but he would not eat it, or only eat it when he really was getting desperate for food.....after yrs of frustration I changed to Purina ONE Lamb and Rice....AND LET ME TELL YOU THAT HE LOVES it. He now eats it when I put it in his bowl where before he would only eat when he knew he did not have any other options and he eats the rice and the lamb....where before with the K&B he would only eat 1 out of the 4 things and the rest would go to waist. I can't say anything about health wise becasue I just started him on it but I can say he loves to eat this product and enjoys it TOO. I will update with Health in a couple of months."

"My three dogs love this food. When they finish licking their own bowl clean, they keep switching bowls until they have licked each bowl clean! They are very healthy and energetic with shiny coats. No fillers means less to clean up in the yard. Only food I'll buy."

The best food ever

"My husband and I have two wonderful dogs. They are two years old and have had problems with their coat and their skin. We had tried many different foods including ones from the veterinarian. Nothing really seemed to help until one day we were shooping at Petco and I started looking at Purina One brand of food. I decided to get a bag of the lamb and rice formula. Our dogs loved it, and after a while their coats were shinnier, softer and they did not seem as itchy. We are so happy that we found something to help them out."

"Finally a Food that a finicky dog will LOVE. With children in our house Penny our Large Breed dog was trying to beg food from our children, but not anymore! She eagerly waits for us to fill her bowl, and eats every bite. After going through numerous dog foods from our local grocery, I have finally found one at Petco that compares to her humans food, and is healthy for her!"

"My dogs love this and so do I! I love that the first ingredient is a real meat product. It makes my dogs coats shiny and soft and they are so healthy! They get so excited when its time to eat too. I love it. It is better tan any other brand I have tried and I am sticking with this product."

All My dogs lved it!

"I've raised Scotties and now have a Westie. These breeds are notorious for skin allergies. Because they also have such short leges they also have a tendancy to develop arthritis in their knee joints. My dogs have done excellent using Purina One. They enjoy the taste and the smaller pieces. I have been asked on several occasions what I feed them because their coats are so beautiful. It is the only brand and flavor that I buy. And they recently improved it by including joint saving ingredients."
