Perfect Feeding/Water Cup!

This feed cup is amazing because 1. - It's clear, which makes it very easy to see if you need to refill your water or food. 2. - With most Petco cages (like the Petco Designer White Finch Flight Cage that I own) have doors that these fit in perfectly ( Know that all the Petco-made cages do come with 2 of these Covered Perch Cups in the box!! (: ) 3. The topper comes on or off easily. Having it on is great if you don't want to have to clean up a mess! 4. Very easy to clean!
The only problem I see with the Petco Covered Perch Cup (And it's hardly a problem) is that my parakeet doesn't like standing on the small perch attached to the cup, which isn't a big deal because he stands on the lip of the cup instead.

The lid is not tight when added. I removed the cup because my birds would constantly knock off the cover.

If you use this cup with a seed mix, you'll have to remove the top layer of empty seed hulls each day by removing the cup from the cage and scraping the top layer off into the garbage can. After a couple weeks of doing this, I got tired and bought a silo feeder that doesn't collect de-hulled seed in the hopper--this works much better and I do not waste as much seed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been looking for a covered replacement cup for my bird cage that has the larger cover opening. Unlike the cups I found in the stores, this is a perfect match to the original ones that came with my cage.
I would recommend this to a friend!
