I bought this stroller for my late dachshund when he was he was going through a horrible degenerative autoimmune disease that was attacking his joints. The idea was great, but after about 5 minutes into the walk, I was hurting big time from not walking upright. I am a 5'9" female, fairly athletic build and in decent shape. I do not recommend this stroller to anyone unless they are petite as it is only 20" in height. After a mediocre walk, your neck and back are in serious pain from being so out of whack!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
