My CATS just LOVE it!!!!

I have 11 feral cats that I've had fixed and vaccinated and I feed and water them all year round. In the winter I provide them with insulated shelter and a heated water dish and my family and I tend to them daily. Half of them are tame enough that we can pet them and have a close bond. The other half don't care to be petted but still come close, knowing they can trust us. I bought this dog house and trained them to go inside by leaving the lower half of the door off in the beginning. Then I put treats and food inside. Once they were really comfortable going in, I put the bottom half of the door on. Some of them went in right away and some took a few days to go in with the whole door on. I also made insulated shelters in a feral cat workshop to supplement the dog house but those shelters have had it after only one winter. This winter I am getting four more of these dog houses, for a total of 5 so that ALL my cats can get cozy, and the house is VERY cozy. Just check out the 2 pics I've posted. I love it, it's very warm, I put in some straw and I don't have to be afraid of my babies being cold even in really nasty temps. When they come out even on a cold morning and I hold them their little bodies are soooo warm :o)

My miniature pinscher goes to work with me, but he has to wait outside. He hasn't much hair, so he needs a warm, dry place to wait, and this house fills the bill nicely. It took minutes for him to figure out how to use the door, and now he goes inside immediately when we get to work. Very nice!

I owned larger ones, and order these small ones to try on my yorkies. day 3, my dogs started to chew on front interior corners that sticks out and later on all the exterior corners. looks like it's pretty hard to resist. this is faulty design. be aware. I'm stuck with 4 I ordered.

This is a very sturdy, well insultated house. It screws together easily and our pet really likes it.
