"My younger cat loves the cat genie. My older cat is afraid of it. But this still reduces my work, the odor and the cost of litter by half. Maybe the older cat will adjust someday."

"I believe this is a good product for a 1 cat household, maybe 2. I have 3 and the cleaning cycle takes too long. Aprox. 35 min. When it pauses the scoop does not retract making it impossible for a cat in need to use it. The company definetly needs to add other options such as a shorter manual clean cycle for urine only."

"This product is one of the most ingenious innovations I've seen; while expensive, it doesn't fail to deliver what it promises. I'm amazed and pleasantly surprised at the ease with which it operates and the efficiency as well. If you have an indoor cat with a litter box, this is the only way to go. The CatGenie eliminates scooping and cleaning, but best of all, it also eliminates the smell associated with litter boxes that just can't otherwise be gotten rid of. I love this product!"

"While it looked like a billion parts to install, it turns out its really easy, especially in a Landry Room. I think I had it all done in less than 1/2 hour, mostly just reading the instructions to make sure it was a simple as they said! Cats jumped right in! Then when I eventually set it up for Cat mode, one of the cats just sat in the Landry room to watch it go through the cleaning cycle."

"I hate litter duty. Its the pits. We got another kitten and then the litter duty doubled. We used to buy Feline Pine which runs about $14 a box and for two cats, its was getting pretty expensive. With catgenie we do not have to worry about getting litter again (except buying the plastic pellets when they get low and we're perfectly ok with that). Great invention, you can tell alot of R&D went into it. There are cons: It pretty big. Bigger than a toilet. But with all the pros, I'm fine with the size. It must be installed in a bathroom or laundry room - which is fine for us."

"Cat Genie is fabulous! This is only day #2 and one of 3 cats has taken to using it immediately. Other two cats are older (16 & 12), so it may be a bit longer adjustment period for them. Not to worry-helpful tips accompany Cat Genie, so you know how to get your cat to cooperate. Installation was a snap. My biggest problem-getting the the old pipe off the toilet so I could install a flexible one. Of course a plumber put the pipe on 12 years ago, so that was no easy task, but I did do it in one afternoon with minimal assistance from husband. Cat Genie is a great product and I highly recommend it even for one cat."

"It took about a week after I got it hooked up and running, but I have two cats one took to it right away, the other took a little urging and a couple of treats and a lot of praise for the other cat... but they are now happily using the Cat Genie.. I love that I don't have to scoop that smelly cat litter any more.. a GREAT PRODUCT!!!!"

"I just want to thank CatGenie for such a great device. I am single; I work a lot and don't have that much time when I am home. I like to spend that time with my cats instead of having to clean their litter box. With the other 'automated' litter boxes, I was finding that I had to clean their boxes nearly everyday, which were disgusting after awhile. The Cat Genie has performed wonderfully. The new scoop design, the below the bowl scraper and the cat activation (My personal favorite) are excellent improvements. The prevention of getting the granules in the gearing is great not to mention it doesn’t waste the granules. The new design allows you to clean the water level sensor without taking the CatGenie apart. I am looking forward to the newly designed cartridges and the cleaning module. I just want to thank CatGenie and its personnel for such a great job! If people pass on buying this, they are making a big mistake. It has saved me money and particularly time."
