Both T5 bulbs were broken in tiny pieces when arrived. Also, concerned about the mercury in the bulb. Hard to obtain 48" bulbs at local stores.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've gone through 4 of these in 4 weeks. One burned out 5 mins after I turned it on. The other 3 burned out after about a week.
Absolutely terrible product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
