"I have a long-haired dog and the hair would get hung up on the nubs and have to be pulled off and fed into the vacuum every few seconds...very labor/time intensive. Also, the adapter attachments did not fit my current Hoover vacuum cleaner and luckily I had another old (Hoover) vacuum that it did fit. Probably works better on shorter hairs that are in the carpet and upholstery so if you have a long-haired pet you might want to reconsider."
