I use this every day to harvest my microworms for my baby fish. It allows you to rinse the culture out, using the net as a strainer for the oatmeal and gunk microworms live in, and even dip the net in to your tank without getting that gunk in the tank. Recommend for anyone who grows microworms!

Hi. I bought this net as I did not have one and it looked like it was more soft and durable than the other one on Petco. The net is made of very soft mesh, and has a very sturdy handle and rod. I use this net for my betta, and it works very well when I'm cleaning the tank and have to take him out. The end of the handle also has a rubber grip around it to provide comfort when using it. I will also probably be using this net to put in ghost shrimp to my new tank along with the betta. I think it could work for any kind of small fish. If you are searching for a net, this one is a great one. The price is also excellent for such a good product. Highly recommend.

Has excessive material that had to be trimmed. Half of the shrimp was caught in it. Once trimmed, not bad.

This is a great net for all types of small fish! The net has very small holes, so fish can not get stuck or hurt because of the holes.

I have two betta fish so this net is perfect when I moved them from the cups to tanks they went in fighting of course but when I released them into their tanks the fins were safe and sound and made me happy that they didn't get caught or tangled.
Affordable and I don't care if it's short. It also helps if you don't want to reach in you can reach the net in to move a silk plant over.
If your a betta owner I recommend this.

Short in Length

Pay attention to the handle length of this net when you buy it. I have a 20 gallon tall tank and this net is way too short. Net seems good for a small short tank.
