Not good if you're looking to dry out ears

This did not work for my Cockapoo (he has all the Cocker Spaniel features including those infamous, problematic ears!). He has issues with his ears year round, but this time of year he swims a lot, which requires special attention. We loved another product, but the company was closed by the FDA (go figure, right?). So, we were told this was practically the same. It wasn't. At least not for drying purposes. The other product also cleansed and dried, but I guess it was a better balance. Virbac Epi-Otic just leaves his ears moist, which defeats the purpose. Our vet has actually made a concoction very similar to the one we used to use and so far, so good. It's cleaning and drying like the other one did. I had high hopes for Virbac Epi-Otic, but it just wasn't so. Hope this review helps someone else with a need for a more drying-type of cleanser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Helps avoid ear infections

My golden has trouble with ear infections, but weekly use of Virbac Epi-Otic has kept us out of the vet's office for that problem.

I've used this product for many many years. It's the one recommended by my vet. Works well and is reasonably priced.
