Not having to clean my turtle tank near as often now that I'm using this. Also, try keeping some goldfish in the tank. They eat a lot of the waste and smaller bits of food.

I know this works because before I got this I had to clean a rock I had submersed underwater every week because of the waste that would build up on it. After applying this, I didn't have to clean the rock at all.

The turtle habitat cleaner works great for a 40 gal. tank with two red eared sliders; on e is an adult about 7" and the other is about 3". The water had been changed every week due to cloudiness and odor and by using the clean habitat cleaner the water doesn't smell and is a lot more clear. We will buy more in the future.

I have been using this habitat cleaner on my turtle's tank for a while now. Before I had it, after a few weeks it got a stench and it would get dirtier a lot faster. It worked fine on my little 10 gal tank back when I only had Buddy (my turtle) but I wasn't sure it would do fine after I got Crush (my smallest turtle) and switched to a 55 gal to make room for both. I love the product. It keeps my tank clean for a longer period of time and no more odors! That was the best part. I do use a slightly bit more than what the label says, around 1 1/2 cap fulls to 2 cap fulls sometimes. My little turtles seem to be happy with the product. Of course I let the product mix with the water for at least 5 minutes before putting my turtles in but they seem to enjoy a cleaner tank longer. I use it every time I wash the tank around every 3-4 weeks, and it works great. I recommend for anyone who is having problems with odors for sure. Of course this is no substitute for a filter or a good tank cleaning but it helps and lets you do the less enjoyable stuff a little less often.

I use this with my turtle to keep his habitat clean - he is quite the messy turtle - and this has really helped. I still do water changes and have good filltration, but even with that it was very difficult to ever have the tank looking anything but cloudy - this has really helped. And my turtle is happy and healthy.
