Roomy and Insulated

"My dog is not fond of this dog house. I had to prop the door up for about a month so he can go in and out. Also, he won't stay inside. After one day of rain in winter and he was wet and shivering, I had to put me (5'9" and 195lbs) and my chocolate lab mix (55lbs) inside so he can be comfortable in it. Yes, we both fit, but it was a tight squeeze. He will now use it when it rains, but otherwise he is on top of it. The roof caved in just enough so he can lay on top. I only wish the very top of the roof was stronger and not cave in.
I would love to give it more than 3 stars, because it is warm inside when it's cold, (at least when I was in it), has windows that come out for warmer weather, easy to put together, and looks nice, but I may have to get another dog house in the near future."

Dogs LOVE IT!

"I have 2 Service Dogs, a Rough Haired Collie & a Golden Retriever. Both dogs simply LOVE this dog house!
The insulation keeps it warm enough for cold Illinois below-freezing weather, & the windows make it breezy enough to be comfortable in hot 90+ Summer heat in the up position. Easy access door, & dogs like the coziness it provides.
Best of all, the tough finish & drain hole make it super easy to keep clean. Can take a hosing down & dries in no time.
Durable construction & easier to put together than a bookshelf, goes together in 15 minutes. Will give several lifetimes of use with nearly no signs of wear.
A great investment, & your dog will appreciate this palace like a king."

"This item is a great value for the money. Easy setup, well built, and the dog loves it. I put a digital thermometer inside with the dog just to see how warm it stayed. When outside temp. was 45, it was almost 65 inside. I can't comment on how this does in the rain, since our current location does not expose it to rain. Overall, I am very please with this purchase. If my wife ever kicks me out of the house, me and the dog might hang out in "the palace"."

very warm in cold weather

"I put a heating pad in this dog house, and its inside is really warm even outside is 10 degree…..my dog loves this house and she does not want to come out when it is really cold. I think its insulation is pretty good, and the price is affordable too. At the beginning, my dog was hesitate to get in, but she learned how to push the door quickly. It is easy to set up. I am very happy with this product."
