Our Bichon has curly hair that tends to get matted.
Rather than have the groomer and the Bichon upset when it's grooming time, I decided to get the grooming table arm so my dog is not able to squirm out of my arms when I brush and comb him.
The groomer said it's well made.
The only thing I'd like to change about the grooming arm is to have a clamp that expands to accommodate a table edge that is 2 inches thick instead of 1 1/2 inches.

I wanted something I could clamp onto a work table and got it in this product. The arm is heavy and the vise is large enough to really 'lock it down". I have three dogs of varying sizes and it is adjustable to any of them. I am very satisfied. Thank you!

I bought this to use with my General Cage grooming table. I have decided to groom my Afghan Hound myself and needed a table arm to support her rear end. The clamp fit my table perfectly. It has a very good range of height adjustments and is easily adjusted. The folding arm is good to move out of the way when putting the dog on or off the table. If your table does not have an arm, I would highly recommend this product.
