Got this collar for my dogs because we got a noise complaint for them barking in our apartment when we were gone. I love that this collar does not shock and has a setting for either a noise or a vibration. If my dog barks once, the collar beeps and he stops immediately. It works wonderfully and we haven't gotten any more noise complaints! My only complaint it that the collar beeps when my dog shakes his head (maybe because the collar mistakes the movement for a bark?) but other than that, it works great!

I have a barker, she will bark just to bark. I did not want to use the shock collar so I decided to give this a try. It works great, the minute the collar goes on, my house is quiet. Her sister who was never a barker has started to bark, if it continues I can see another collar in our future.

Sending back. Had no affect on her what so ever! If you want to make sure it goes off when need, try a remote one. At least you can tell if it is going on! That's if THAT works!

Maybe it senses deep big barks from large dogs, but it sure doesn't respond to squeaks and high pitched barks of little dogs. The only time it vibrated or sounded, which I could hear, was when I switched it from one to the other. Also, the photo in the ad is deceptive, it and the neck band are much larger than they appear. It is 2.75 inches long, 1.25 inches wide, and .5 inch thick. The neck band is .75 inch wide. Both are extremely bulky on tiny dogs under 10 lbs. My dogs weigh 6 lbs, a tiny overweight Yorkie, the other is much larger but slender.

There is little evidence this collar works. My dog continues to bark. The only thing that slows her down is the thought of wearing it. She doesn't like bulky collars. Collar is being returned.

This definately helped stop our terrier from barking, but the batteries only lasted for ONE MONTH, and replacing them has been a pain in the rear. Not only are they hard to find and expensive, but they are also just plain hard to install. Humans have walked on the moon; why does changing batteries have to be so difficult? Do these companies really have no better technology? It took two people, a Swiss Army Knife, a paperclip, and forty minutes to install these monsters. I felt like MacGyver.

I was amazed that it actually worked! Our little Poodle was quite a barker and we needed to do something. Buying this collar was the best thing ever!

the product is too large for a small 9 lb dog. i received a defective collar that went "off" @ will, not only when the dog barked, confusing him even More than before he wore the collar.

This collar was completely ineffective on our 10 lb Chi/Terrier mix. The vibration setting didn't even phase her. She didn't like the ultrasonic sound, but it did nothing to stop her from barking. Pretty disappointed in this product.

my dog wore this collar once. Started barking, it vibrated and he has not been a problem since. I only have to say want the collar and he instantly quiets and comes and lays down. Amazing. Now , what do I do with the collar???? Great!!!

I tried this on my Schnauzer, and she continued to bark and bark and bark and bark....I tried it on low, on high, on sound, and on vibrate and it had no effect on her barking. Fortunately I was able to return it to my local Petco for a full refund.
Also, the collar/strap has no buckle/clasp, so it has to be loosened, slipped over the dog's head, and then tightened while it is on. VERY inconvenient!

Sorry, I think this is a piece of junk and not worth the money. Your dog adjusts to the vibration or noise too quickly and ignores them. So the barking continues. Wish I hadn't bought it.

We're about to have a baby and needed to train our black lab not to bark at every little bump or mythical thing he seems to see out the window. This collar doesn't work at all. Not on either the vibration setting or the high tone. We've tried the max setting for both options and it doesn't deter him from backing in the slightest. I'm highly disappointed.

I have a Yorkie, and would bark at everything. Put the collar on with the vibrate on and did not work so well. Switched it to the sound.. and it worked really well.
Only downside is that I would have liked a collar that "clicked " on as having to feed the strap every time is a hassle and a half.

I have a 3 yr old Jack Russell mix that I adopted from a shelter. I had to temporarily move to AZ to help with an ill family member. We have health care and hospice staff constantly in and out and I work from home. My dog started barking hysterically at anyone who wasnt a family member and then began barking at cars, bikes, everything outdoors. She did not have this behavour at our house. I tried no bark spray, can of pennies, thundershirt, squirting with water, a training class. Nothing worked. I didnt want to get a "shock" collar but thought that was the next step. I decided to try this first. It worked after the first 2 times she barked at something. She still barks sometimes but after one peep she stops in her tracks. I'm so grateful the sound and vibration worked. My only complaint is the strap could be of higher quality. It isn't very secure around my dogs neck.

Worked within hours on my schnauzer mix. Improved his behavior 100%! Now, all he has to do is see the collar and he will stop barking, if I haven't put it on him already. Usually, I put it on him in the morning and take it off at night. I would recommend this collar to anyone who has a problem with a barking dog. He is much better behaved now and much more pleasant to be around.

I liked the general idea of the collar however the "gadget" that vibrates was too big for my dog. The collar also in the smaller size didn't come with a clip in system, instead it had to be hand weaved to be tightened which is a pain getting it off and on the dog.
