This is definately large enough for the biggest syrian hamster!! There are little holes on the sides, so you can peek in or feed a treat. You can see where your hammy/critter is in the tunnel, but it's not as clear as the picture portrays. My hammy uses this as a running spot, cleaning area, and once in a while sleeping area. Serves many functions, and I don't worry about him getting stuck or anything like that. I used this to connect my two bins together for his bin cage! AWESOME!!
I would recommend this to a friend!
