"I thought I try this food for my guppies. I usually feed them flakes which could get boring but they still love. Flakes tend to just drop to the bottom of the tank and eventually need to be cleaned up. The freeze dried food is awesome cause they float back up to the top and the fish eventually finish it all up. They love both the blood worms & brine shrimp. I highly recommend this type of food!"

"my goldfish love the freeze dried brine shrimp. I cut each cube into four smaller cubes because when i tried tearing off pieces most of the shrimp got turned into fine pieces. I got these because I know they need a variety, like pellets, fd shrimp, peas, zuchini, etc.

"I have over 30 fish, for now, and they can't get enough of the bloodworms or brine shrimp. I usually give them 1 feeding of each once a week as a treat. The feed as much as they can eat in 2 to 3 minutes rule does not apply here. They frantically devour these treats in seconds. Do not overfeed. It is easy to do with these treats."

"Hikari makes the best fish food. They come in an airtight, palstic container, with a vacuum packet inside to keep the contents fresh, and my fish love the freeze dried brine shrimp! I love that you can break up the cubes into smaller portions for different sized tanks. It's easier to gauge how much you've fed by the size of the chunk you've broken off."

"I have purchased Hikari blood worms for some time now and my cichlids just love them. I had bought them blood worms from a different brand and they wouldn't eat them. Hikari blood worms have a better appearance and scent than the other brand I previously bought. And that is why I gave them a 5 paws rating!!"

"I have tried other blood worms, but noticed that Hikari makes the biggest and best quality fd worms for the money. My 5 bettas, all of my danios tetras, corys and my goldfish just love them! They are a bit pricey, but well worth the buy."

"I bought the brine shrimp for my tetras, and they absolutely go crazy over it. The cubes stay together for several minutes, giving my smaller tetras (neon's) the chance to get some as well. I decided to try the other Hikari Bio-Pure Fish Foods, and they like it just as well. It also has really brought out the colors on all of my fish. If you have tetra's in your aquarium, I would highly recommend giving this brand of fish food a try, your fish are going to thrive on it."

My Fish's Favorite Food

"I feed our fish a variety of food, but the Hikari bloodworms are the food that every one of our fish eats the fastest and with the most excitement. I've had success feeding it to our oscar when it was still small enough to be satisfied with such small food, my betta, our African cichlid, catfish, goldfish, loaches, and even our plecostomus goes to surface, occasionally swimming upside down so I can drop some straight into its mouth. Not only do the fish love it, but it is very high in protein and is fortified with C, E, and B vitamins."
