"great idea but should be available with magnet also, if side walls accumulate a film between cleanings it does not stay in place"

Fish cut himself on it
Date: June 21, 2007
"I love the concept of this product, but when I actually used it, the food drifted to the edges of the ring. Because of the sharp edges on the ring, my betta got a huge gash in his head when getting his food."

I love this
Date: February 4, 2007
"Of course some of the food will naturally drop, but I've been amazed how quickly the fish have learned to go to the ring to eat ...
we just had about 35 swordtail fry and they have even learned to go to their ring.
now if I could find a good one for the bottom feeders I'd be really happy."

feeder ring review
Date: April 22, 2006
"I think the idea is grerat and the product works wonderfully. I have a 10 gal tank with an aquatic turle and electric blue african cichlid. The food stays in place despite the moving water due to the filter. I notice that I had to submerge it halfway to get things right so dont get discouraged. Now everyone knows where to go when hungry. Plus when I notice them hanging around the area I know theuir hungry"

best for bowls with no circulation
Date: February 28, 2006
"I bought this for my goldfish to keep the filter and air pump from moving the food around after putting it in the tank. However it stayed there for about a minute then floated right under the ring and back into the tank. However if you have a goldfish bowl with no ciruclation or a betta bowl this would be great for floating pellets and flake food,it will keep those foods in place untill the fish can get it and then they know to come to the same place in the bowl for there food."
