Great for Funny Tummies

"I have a special needs pug-mix who I adopted as a puppy. He has a couple different issues with digestion and I tried everything. When he used the bathroom it was never normal. He had diarrhea and threw up regularly until we tried this food. He also cannot eat a lot at one time, and since this food is high calorie and nutrition he keeps a healthy weight, which he did not before because food always went right through him. Yes, the softer coat is nice, but the fact he keeps this down is amazing. If you have a dog with digestive issues, and have tried everything, try this!"

best purchase ever

"I have had my toy fox terrier for six years and have never found a brand of dog food that he would eat. I would always have to mix his dry food with wet and that was causing his teeth to fall out. Well Charlie loves this dog food. He now only eats this dry food and no longer have to mix with wet food. This is the best brand of pickie eaters like my Charlie."

"Got to say, I've got one of the fussiest little pekingese boys out there. this food literally saved his life. He refused everything and anything put in front of him. NO dry kibble was good. Until I found this food. His vet remarked how well he was doing on it and couldn't beleive the improvement in weight, coat and over all health. If y ou have a finiky little guy, this is the food for you!"

Royal Canin Special 30

"My picky small SPCA dog ate this dry food 1ST try. Only food that she will now eat. Part Alaskin Spitz, 18 to 20Lbs, and has a double coat of fur. After a few weeks, even her fur became much softer. This is very good food for small dogs. Its the right size for them to chew easy. P.S. Thinking of getting a Dog or Cat, please consider adopting a pet from your local SPCA or other shelter. I am disabled and now I have a buddy to keep me company till my wife comes home from work. :)"

Best Food for Picky Pups!
Date: May 12, 2008
"I have a wonderful, but incredibly fussy, rescue named Spunky. This is the ONLY kibble he will eat - and we have tried them ALL. I highly, highly recomend this food to anyone with a picky eater... (I am also a cat foster mom, and even the cats go nuts when I open the bag!)"

Well worth it
Date: May 6, 2008
"Our 16-yr-old toy poodle has consistently weighed 5 lbs all her adult life until she recently got gallstones. (Nearly unheard of, according to the vets!). She became gravely ill and would not even eat people food of any kind. Her weight dropped down to 3.7 lbs and she had to be hospitalized for 8 days. When she came home I tried several different brands and types of dog food, including several homemade recipes and the brand she had eaten all her life. She was having nothing to do with any of it! I was ecstatic when she chowed down on the Royal Canin Special! After just a few weeks, she is up to over 4 lbs and will hopefully reach her normal weight soon. Royal Canin is more expensive than other dog foods, but if she will eat it and it doesn't give her stomach problems, that makes it cheaper than all those experiments that went in the garbage. I say it's worth it! PS- Please don't stop making the small bags. It takes 1 tiny dog quite awhile to go through larger bags. Freshness counts."

"I have a little tiny toy poodle. When I adopted him, he had been from a puppy mill. He was really sick and had alot of different parasites in his digestive system. I bought other cheaper brands but he kept throwing up all day long. I read about royal canin on a poodle site. I tried it and he likes it alot and no more throwing up and has not had any ear infections since he has been eating this also. It's expensive but i will never go back to anything else."

"I have a pom who would not chew his food, no matter what I did. I have tried several different kinds of dog food and still didn't help. Finally I tried this one when it was recommened to me buy a store associate. I am so glad that I listened to him because my pom loves this dog food and he actually chews it up. I would suggest this to anyone that would has a dog that is a picky eater."

Great For Fussy Eaters!
Date: January 31, 2008
"We have two 5 yr. old Cairn Terriers. They are possibly the fussiest eaters ever and our little male has a very sensitive digestive system. Often if we could get him to eat other food, he would be sick later in the day. Then one day we saw this food in a pet store and after reading the package decided to try it. Our dogs love this food and are very rarely sick now. The only struggle we have at meal times now is who will get done first to see if the other one has any left (hardly ever)! Thanks Royal Canin."

Awesome

"I have a VERY picky silkie terrier. Royal Canin is the first brand that he will consistently eat. He loves it. It's great with his sensitive tummy and it is great for his teeth. I highly recommend this for puppies that are spoiled and have a hard time eating dry dog food."

Excellent!
Date: September 7, 2007
"I had gone through what seemed like a bazillion different types of food for my imperial shih tzu, but they either made her sick, or she didn't like them. I had heard about Special, and tried it, and for the past year she has been eating only that, and it's been great! Perfect for fussy or sensitive eaters! Plus having read up on Royal Canine, I found out the quality I was paying for, was well worth it."

I was surprised
Date: May 23, 2007
"I have a 5 year old Papillon and she's the fussiest thing I have ever seen! She won't eat any wet or canned food, my mom has to cook rice w/ chicken and veggies for her and we tried countless brands of dry food, that she never wanted to eat. I bought this yesterday and I was so shocked. I gave her 2 little pieces to see if she would like it, and she loved it! She even begged for more when I left the room. And whenever we feed her, she licks the bowl clean. I would recommend this to anyone with a fussy puppy. Now I'll just have to watch the results."

Royal Canine is the best

"I have been using royal canine since I got my puppy pom over 8 months ago. I could tell a difference between my new puppy and my other poms health, activity and fur. I have switched all my boys to royal canine and they are both fun loving soft poms. I highly recommend this for any dog."

Best dry dog food for small fussy dogs
Date: October 10, 2006
"We have a mixed breed chi/terrior. She is very fussy and will refuse to eat until she is ill. Her weight is normally around 11 to 12 pounds which is healthy for her. She has dropped as low as 7 when refusing to eat. She prefers wet food, but is a very active dog and we try to feed her a healthy dry food that will keep her teeth clean and provide adequate nutrition. She will not eat anything that is too hard or big. She loves this food so much I can even use it as a treat. The taste, size, and texture are exactly what she craves. I highly reccommend this kibble for your fussy pooch. Her coat, teeth, health, energy and even her stools have improved."

Royal Canin Special 30 is the BEST!
Date: November 28, 2005
"I have a very picky mini dachshund that would not eat any other food. We have tried everything until Royal Canin came out with Special 30. We considered trying the dachshund formula, also very highly recommended by my Bogart's foster mom for doxies of all ages, but decided to try this first. He instantly fell in love with his food! He can't wait until breakfast and dinner! I would suggest Royal Canin and Special 30 to any small dog (under 30 lbs) owner that has a picky eater! You will see a change instantly! "
