You Get What You Pay For

"Like others have said, this item is poorly constructed. Because of the way the tank sits, water does not automatically flow into the bowl - defeating the whole purpose of an automatic waterer. In addition, the plastic is very lightweight and my large dogs would often accidentally knock it over while it was full, leaving my kitchen flooded. All in all - pay the extra $10 or so for a different model."

"We ordered 3 of them and one has to be tilted for the water to come out. The other 2 seem to work ok. The bowls are small which keeps my dogs from bathing in their water dishes and makes them slow down their drinking, rather than gulping down big drinks of water. They are cheap and do the job."

"The water does not drop down on it's own. I have to keep picking up on the bottle to get the water to fill the bowl. Would not reccommend this item"

"Im really glad I purchased this item. From a convenience stand point its great! I dont have to constantly refill the water bowl. The only complaint I have is the actual water bowl is small. I have a 80lb Boxer and he has to turn his head to drink the water. Other than that, this product is great!"

"My cats often get food into their water bowl and so it frequently requires cleaning. With my cats, the electric well style pump gets clogged and the filter needs to be changed more often. It is time consuming to clean. With the wide top bottle holder style, I have to waste a lot of the water from the bottle to get the bowl clean. This by far is the best. It is a quick clean without detaching the bottle and not a lot of water is wasted. I use bottled water to prevent bacterial growth in the water. For cats that leave food in their bowl this waterer is the greatest."
