very disappointing

Bought this for my 115 lb dobermann (along with a pink one for my female pit bull). He uses it on the next to last hole, and the tab that is to hold down the end of the collar when it is on him does not slide close enough to the other end, so there is nothing to hold down the end piece (with the holes) when it is closed. It goes through a buclke, but nothing holds it down, so it always looks as if his collar is coming off, and doesn't seem secure to me. Both the green and the pink were a disappointment for my two dogs. These are probably more suitable for smaller dogs. If your dog's neck is close to the maximum size of the collar, I wouldn't suggest it because you will have nothing holding down the end when you close it. They only got these a week ago for Christmas and have been wearing them, so assumably I cant return them. The charms with stones were a disappointment too, stones are already missing, and the silver charms without stones, the two letters I ordered do not fit together well; one letter is always askew. Also, the charms slide around and always seem to be on the bottom of the collars, so they can't even be seen. Shopping for a different, sturdier, brand of collar.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
