When I bought these in May 2011 one was a blueish/ purple the second was white. Not sure if it was a bad bulb or what, but disappointed in not getting the blue I paid for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased these bulbs along with the night light bulbs. Also ordered Zilla light fixture but that is another review all together... Anyways, the night light bulbs I ordered offline werew fine, as well as the daylight bulbs but after inserting them into the Zilla light fixture the daylight bulbs cracked under their own heat output. Hm...Not up to my specks. Lasted about 3 - 4 days, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. Not up to my expectations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I must be me or something, but I have ordered these bulbs online (do not see in store) 3 times. Everytime the bulbs were cracked. This last time I had no choice but to use anyway because i was down a bulb and had to get temp up. Wish they sold these at the store. The night lights I purchased were fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
