My macaw is a picky eater when it comes to pelletized food but she loved this the first time I gave it to her. She also has gained some weight since I switched to ZuPreem.

A wonderful food at an affordable price for 20 lbs

A good maitenance food like this should be the primary base of any birds diet. The plumage on my bird has improved as well as his overall condition. As long as I can buy the 20 lb bags from petco at a reasonable price with shipping, I will have a happy, healthy bird.

I have an African grey and a Blue and Gold. I shop here because they have the 20lb bag. Big birds are messy, each bite of a pellet and half of it shoots out of the cage. Keep selling the big bags, and Im in.

I have an active 14 yr old blue and gold macaw and have always used this pellet brand. I am very happy with it; she seems to be too. I like that is the nuetral brown color because the multi-colored ones usually give her digestive difficulties. This is a good quality food for the price. I just wish I could find the natural color ones in a larger size like they make for the multi-color ones. Macaws go through a lot of pellet and it would save to buy in bulk.
