"I was skeptical at first, but I used to get the regular brown Carefresh because it was cheaper.
But I got the Ultra for the first time a few weeks ago and I'll never go back! My rats and gerbils used to get bad poryphin staining every time I changed the bedding because of the dust (it's the blood-looking liquid that they excrete around their nose/eyes due to irritation). But it went away and hasn't come back since! Plus, the Ultra seems softer and smells nicer."

"My Guinea pig ivory only gets this stuff, i cant stand using the other brown kind... it's a really gross color and it's nowhere near as absorbant as this stuff! and this stuff is fluffier so i use less"

"I tried this bedding out for my ferrets. It does not help with odor. But my ferrets absolutely love it. They like to move it into their sleeping hut and sleep on it. They also like to bury under it and jump out at each other. So for odor control no, but for fun and bedding yes they love it."

"Ihave a Teddy Bear Hampster named Mahmoo. This is the only bedding I use in his cages.....yes he has a mansion of different habitats tubed together! Anyway, Carefresh Ultra Pet Bedding is a very superior product. Not only does it perform well it looks good too. It is also comfortable for Mahmoo. His cage never smells and the bedding is ultra absorbant. I like to buy a big package of the white bedding and then add colored Carefresh to it to add variety. This is the only bedding I will ever purchase. I highly recommend it."

"Good product for my two guinea pigs - compared to regular Carfresh, the Ultra has much less dust and the white color makes it easier to see soiled areas when cleaning. I'm happy with the product, but the cost is prohibitive for those of us that keep our cages very clean."

"My friend recommended me this bedding, and it seems like a popular one anyway, so I tried it, and my only complaint is that when she pees in the bedding, it gets very soggy, and has a chance of giving her a skin rash."

"Have been using this for my guinea pigs forever. Better than any other type of bedding and safer on these little critters. A little more expensive, but so worth it. Please do not use wood chips on the gps... they smell too strong and fumes are harmful, as they are in their cages all the time (not mine-they get tons of floor time). I buy when on sale and w/ coupons. Very absorbet and the urine smell is minimal. Biodegrabable also and not heavy (messed up my back carrying cat litter years ago). Try Carefresh, for your critter's health."

"I have been buying this product for a loooong time now. It's great for small critters - we have 3 gerbils ( used this product for our guiena pig too.) Very absorbant, great odor control, not dusty at all compared to some other products. I never did like pine since they can chew on the wood - it creates all sorts of problems (ie. tooth abcess- augh!)The gerbils love to dig, burrow, shred. They make tunnels in the bedding- too funny! I considered this product for our bunny but it was terrible however. Our bun does NOT like to shred, burrow and instead would slip on this bedding and because of this, she would "go" off of the bedding right in her cage. This is a great product however for gerbils/guiena pigs ( And I would assume the same goes for hamsters too!)"

"I've used just about every product out there with my Gerbils, Mice and Guinea Pigs, this stuff is awsome. The color makes everything look clean, and you don't have the hassel of getting wood shavings out of your fuzzy socks, you still have to change it of course, but it's alot more absorbent and easier to manage than corn cob. The only place I don't recomend it is as a top layer for guinea pigs, I do use about 3 inches under a layer of aspen for them, but for animals that don't dig much if any, this stuff compacts too much, but that's a problem with all of the paper type products, using them together has eliminated the wood shavings tendancy to mildew near the bottom layers, I give this product an A++ in all departments."

"This litter is amazing. Among our pets, we have two house rabbits. I was afraid of the odor involved with having them in the house. I purchased this litter after having tried other types and this is wonderful. There is no oder whatsoever. Some litters have more oder than what the rabbit's leave behind. With this litter it absorb's their order and has no oder itself. I would recommend it to everyone!!!"

"This bedding works for nothing. They say it eliminates odors but I used it for my rats and it barly worked. It made the cage smell even worse. I highly recommend Soft N' Sorbent, it is the best I,ve used."
