I used this sand for my beardie and the sand itself was great but it colored his feet, belly and nose blue. It looked like he was wearing surgical gloves and mask. It wouldn't wash off and had to wait for him to shed to be pretty again. I would not use colored sand, just stick with the more natural products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have heard of many beardies getting impactions with sand and that it changes the color of the beardies. the sand is calcium fortified and my beardie does like to taste it so i don't have to give him any calcium supplements and i have had him for almost a year and i have not had any problems with impaction. i also like the colors it gives it a nice touch. the only time i see him change to the blue color is when he is shedding because it gets into the shedding skin but i have had no problems with it i would recommend it to people.
I would recommend this to a friend!
