"This little doghouse is a perfect fit for my small patio and offers good protection from rain and wind.
I first ordered the medium size, but once I assembled it I realized it was too small inside for my 35-lb Queensland heeler. She's not a big dog by any means, so I was surprised by this. I returned the medium and ordered the large, and it is just right.
With padding tucked inside, this is a good fit for the climate (in Sacramento). The wooden walls are thin and the doghouse is uninsulated, so this would not be good for very cold areas.
If you're ordering, check the interior measurements to make sure it's big enough for your dog.
The wood stain smells quite strong when you first take it out of the box. The smell goes away very quickly--in a day or two. If you can, leave the roof off for a day or so to let the interior air out faster.
Finally, assembly is quick and easy. All you'll need is a phillips screwdriver. I put it together in under 30 minutes."
