"My male Roborovski hamster loves this mix (though he does like to pick and choose the smaller seeds), and I have to say the online price (especially when on sale) is a HUGE bargain -- by using the online code "Ckayteefood", i was able to get an additional $2.50 off of the $4.99 sale price, making this 4 lb. bag a HUGE deal at only $2.49!!! This same food at NYC Petco stores costs $9.99 -- what?!!"

"My hamster would go to the bathroom in one corner, so I bought him a potty pan and this litter. As soon as I put the litter in the pan, he rushed over and used it. This litter controls oder and keeps the cage much cleaner. I would definitely recommend this litter for anyone wanting to potty train their small rodent."

"I really cant comment on this litter as I was not able to keep it in the cage long enough for my rats to use it. As soon as I put this in their litter box they started eating it so I took it out and got something else. The little but that they ate didn't seem to hurt them any, but I didn't think it was a good idea to keep it in there."

"This is a great product, if only my rattie girls would use it. lol I like that when my girls would potty in it, the litter that was wet would dissolve into a pile of moosh. If you let it sit a few minutes before cleaning it up it makes it much easier. If you have rats and they are already litter trained I would recommend this for sure."

"My hamster likes to use this for her potty time. She will not use the potty made for it. But she uses the litter at all times...just in a different spot in her cage. So it really works. My hamster is fully litter trained. :)"

"I recently saw this product online, while I was researching what I would need for a new hamster, and decided I had to try it. My guy's still a baby, so I had my doubts it would work, but it did. He figured it out in a few days. I did have to place it where he wanted or he wouldn't use it, though. But the directions that came with it worked wonderfully.
It's very absorbent and easy to change. I use it with one of the corner trays, as my hamster is a Sirian and I didn't think the "Hamster Potty" would be big enough once he got older. The only problem I have found (and maybe it wouldn't be a problem with the "Hamster Potty") is that when he was first learning what it was for, he would kick it all over the place. That behavior only lasted a day or two, and the extra cleaning I had to do at the time was well worth it.
Also, he would nibble on it, thinking it was food. But that has stopped, too. All in all, I think it's a great product that works extremely well. I don't have to clean his cage as often, just the litter."
