After several times of piercing the nipple with a large needle, then cutting an x with a blade, fluid still would not pass through the nipple, I couldn't even squeeze or manipulate nursing behavior to get liquid to pass. I had to actually cut the very tip tip of the nipple off to get anything to pass through! They need to come ready to use!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have 8 puppies and this is my favorite brand of nursing bottle, Im very happy with this bottle.
This is perfect for small breeds like poodle mini toy, chihuahua,etc...
I would recommend this to a friend!

and not worry about putting excess air into their lungs. but trying to get the whole in the nipple right was insane. i ruined the first two nipples that came with the set before i got it right.
I would recommend this to a friend!
