"I pulled the string on this mouse once, and it ran for half a second, then broke. Needless to say, my cat and I weren't impressed."

Not very jittery
Date: December 2, 2008
"Unlike other toys that vibrate, this one requires you to pull a string (vs. flipping a switch). After pulling the string, the "jittery"-ness lasts for approximately 2 seconds, not even really enough time to set it down for your cat to be intrigued by. I dropped it by my cat quickly after pulling the string, so he was somewhat interested. When he tried to bat it around, though, it was too heavy. I don't really get the point of this toy and neither does my cat."

My cat loves this toy!!!
Date: October 22, 2008
"I would recommend this toy to anyone with a younger cat, or a cat that is young at heart. Our cat can't get enough of this toy and has conditioned himself to get excited at the sound anytime I pull the string. He knows it's playtime! He has even figured out how to make it move by tugging on the ring with his teeth and kicking away the toy, which makes it even more exciting for him! This is an excellent value and we already have 3 different versions of this toy."

My Cat Can't Live Without It
Date: July 11, 2008
"My neighbor got 2 of these for my cats about 2 years ago. One of my cats doesn't play so obviously my other cat took both. This past winter I had to finally throw one away because I had stepped on it enough times that the pieces inside were working their way out and I didn't want my cat to eat them. The remaining toy is the love of my cat's life. She carries it everywhere she goes. I throw it into the basement and she will run after it immediately. Lately I have noticed that the pieces inside were pretty broken from me stepping on it like the other and I eventually will be tossing it in the trash soon. Afraid I would break her heart I have been going from stroe to store, web site to web site looking for this darn toy. This time, I will stock up!!!"
