"Our Beta, JJ (Jaws Junior) is 2 1/2, and we dearly love him. He has always been healthy and spunky. We have no idea why, but he recently developed skin rashes and fin rot, became lethargic and lost his appetite. He seemed to be saying "Help!"! We went to PetCo and found BettaFix, which contains the miracle oil, Melaleuca, put the recommended dose in his bowl and within 24 hours his beautiful color had returned, his fins began healing and he began eating again. "My Betta had a severely split fin and was looking real bad. Then I got BettaFix and put a few drops in the bowl. I am floored as to how fast his wounds are healing. In just two days what was a serious rip is now just a small fray. I would definetly reccomend this product to anyone who owns a betta. Miraculous!!!"

"First of all, Thank You for all of the reviews. I didn't know what to do. My Lavi (my betta) was sickly looking,had white spots under his chin and on his back, and his beautiful fins were tucked in. I foud this site and thanks to everyboby who gave a review I knew there was hope. I RAN to our local petco and got bettafix and aquarium salt. After only one dose his fins are flowing and he is very active. I'm gonna finish the treatment to make sure he feels better but I had to let you know that I love these products. I know they saved my Lavi. He's his old happy self again. Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!!!!!!"

It really worked!

"I did a search the other day for Betta illnesses and read multiple message boards, fish expert sites and went thru list after list of symptoms leading to various diseases. Of course, my fish showed no signs of any of these horrible diseases and I was at a loss for what to treat him with. Basically, he wasn't eating much at all, was holding his fins flat to his body and looked pale. Poor little guy clearly didn't feel good. After reading alot of the reviews on this product I decided I'd give it a shot. All I can say is what I read was true, it worked like a charm. After one dose he was more active and attacking his food again with interest. After 2 doses he let his fins go and started greeting me at meal time again. Now after the 3rd dose he has started making bubble nests which he never did before. I'd have to say he is the happiest he's ever been. I'm so relieved and not only would I recommend this product to my friend but I already did. Give it a try!"

"I am new to the world of bettas. I bought my first one about a month ago and I love him dearly. I noticed a string of fin torn away but I figured he snagged it on something but then I noticed his "baby" front fins were almost clear and withering away with fin rot! I bought BettaFix right away and have been using it for two days now, adding a 1/2 teaspoon to his 1.5 gallon tank at night. I am so impressed with how his small fins are blue and healing wonderfully! His split fin is also just a small fray now! His color is brilliant and I hope he continues to heal after the seven day treatment!"

"While I was switching my betta tnaks around I put all of them into temp tanks and sadly forgot to cover them. Of course a few jumped up and got injuries because of it. It says its for cuts and torn fin so I tried it but sadly my pride "show" betta Red Ivan was too far gone and he passed on. Since then I haven't bred any betta's and I've made sure to keep the rest of them safe. I've tried to use this medicine once more for a less serious wound and the male did get better only to fall ill of something else and died. I haven't had much luck with this but hopefully if you have a minor wound this will work."

"This is just really watered down medicine and isn't strong enough. it did nothing for my betta. try tetracycline for bacterial or jungle fungus eliminator for fungus"

"hi betta owners, my two beautiful betta fish, (chiquitin and snow flake), start to show signs of sickness i do not why, injuries like fryed fins, fin rot, and i treat them with this product for about five days and i t work out now they are healthy fishies and the swin like speed racer, so i recomend this product fully."

"I have three male betta fish. One of the fish was adopted from Petco. It was an adult fish when it was relinquished eight months ago, so I don't really know how old he is now. Last week he started sitting on the bottom and he had red through his face. His color was poor all over, and I thought he was not long for this world. I purchased BettaFix from Petco, and he improved OVERNIGHT. Unbelievable. Really...I can't believe my eyes."

"My beta developed minimal tail/fin rot about a month ago and I looked it up and bought this product put the recomended amount and it has only delayed the process. Its getting worse his whole fin is almost gone and although he doesn't feel pain I feel bad for him.. waste of time get something else!"

Miracle Remedy

"I felt hopeless seing my little friend in such missery, always gasping for air with bulging eyes, it seemed to be in so much pain and I was praying for it to die quickly, until I visited the Petco website and saw this product. I went to the store as soon as I could get there and started the treatment. The next day I saw some improvement and three days later my friend is eating again and it is healing very well. I am glad I didn't give up and I strongly recommend you don't either and go to your nearest Petco and get this product right away! Your beta deserves another chance."

"I have used this for 2 of my female bettas that had been attacked by their female betta bowl mates...it really helped, I believe it kept them alive for a lot longer than they would have otherwise. I'm positive that if they hadn't been so badly hurt...big flesh wounds...that this would've cured them"

Revived my elderly betta

"I have a betta who is 3 plus years old. He is usually healthy but recently was very sluggish doing a lot of bottom sitting, not eating and losing all his black coloring, and not flaring anymore. I thought it was from aging . I put in some aquarium salt & added a heater to his tank but nothing helped. I put some bettafix in his tank and he was back to his normal healthy self in a day , eating again and has started blowing bubble nests ( something he did not do before) I even see new fin growth on his tail and his colors have become more brillant. It worked wonders in my elderly betta. I thought he was at death's door but after using bettafix he is doing great .I would definitely buy it again and plan on keeping some on hand in my betta first aid kit. I love that it is an all natural product."

"Bettafix is a great product to prevent illnesses and heal damage. I have a that I've recently bought that has fin rot and an old Betta that experienced his tail blow. I've found that to cure an illness, you need to use a specific med to address the problem and Betta fix to heal. Either way, It's a great preventative and I'd die without it because it's liquid, making my betta bowl experience much better. I really recommend this for new Bettas to make their move in a less stressful environment."

best overall medication I've found for bettas

"I saw this medication in a store, and was wondering how good it was. I was extrememly fortunate that another customer in the store happened to over hear me talking to an employee about it. Turned out he was a longtime aquarist,and he had been involved in pre-market testing of melaleuca. He said he found melaleuca to be a fantastic product that cured everything it proclaimed to and more, he had even had success with it curing internal parasites which melaleuca doesn't claim to fix. So I bought it, and was so glad that I did! I have quite a few bettas, and this product has made treating them (if they need it) so easy. Sometimes you can see physical signs like a fungus or tailrot, but quite often I acquired bettas who were just listless and didn't want to eat,maybe clamped fins and droopy tail,sometimes just lolling at the bottom of the bowl, and you just can't figure out exactly what is wrong. Many medications are made for specific problems only, gram positive or gram negative infections, internal or external parasites,etc. And mostly they are packaged for dosages per a 10 gallon tank, which takes a lot of conversion to adapt the dosage to a betta bowl. Bettafix is perfect. So easy to add drops for the right dosage,and so highly effective in curing a broad spectrum of problems wonderful to use when you don't know what you are combatting! I have had a huge success rate with this product, from bacterial problem to unidentified ailments, and I would recommend it to anyone who keeps bettas. My advice is don't wait to have a problem, keep a bottle on hand!"

"When my brother's fish got pop-eye, I was forced to use this medication, as I couldn't find anything else. All I can say is: WOAH. This stuff actually worked on pop-eye! The fish was treated monday night and by Wednesday night he was back to normal. I really was expecting it to be one of those cheap rip-offs, but it wasn't."

NO FISH FUNERAL

"I'M SO GLAD I FOUND THIS PRODUCT. MY FISH WAS AT DEATHS DOOR WITH FINROOT. I USED BETTA REMEDY AND WITHIN A FEW DAYS HE WAS ALMOST BACK TO NORMAL. I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS AND BOY IT WORKED. THIS WAS A COUPLE MONTHS AGO AND HE IS STILL A HAPPY HEALTHY FISH. I CAN SEE THE NEW GROWTH ON FINS AND TAIL. I USUALLY ADD A FEW DROPS WHEN I CHANGE BOWLS JUST INCASE."

"Betta fix is just an extremely watered down version of Melafix. Niether is a true medication. Better to get Jungle Fungus Clear or other antibacteria medication. Great to protect torn edges of fin, works like a medicated ointment almost."
