"My hamster loved it. She chewed and or ate about one fourth of it in one night and after just 2 nights about half is gone. Wish I had ordered more than just one."

Rather a Pain, but the Pets Love it

"I wasn't too fond of it. tHey ate out the filling, then refused to touch the rest. It smelled awful. However, I figured out a system-Skizzorz gets the filling, Oreo gets the log. But really, I hated it. But the hamsters love dit so much I continue buying."

Ratties Love It!

"Our ratty girls can't get enough of these logs. We have to buy one every couple weeks because they just eat it so fast. The only reason it doesn't have 5 Paws is the alfalfa, the ratties just won't touch it. It would be better if they could make a rat version with just seeds and filling. They just pull the hay out and leave a mess of it all over the cage bottom. But they eat all the rest of it, the seeds and filling seem to be tasty and the log is good for their teeth. They also get a good workout carrying it down the cage ramps if we place it at the top."

Not for hamsters...

"Well I got this for my syrian hamster and he pretty much ignored it. They only part he liked was the seeds. He does not chew on the log or eat the hay; he just pulls it out and it makes a mess. I might throw it away.
I've heard great reveiws for it when they use it for rats, so i might get it for my little ratties. : )
I said I would recommend it to a friend because it seems that other animals love it. : )"
