Still going strong after 3 years

"I laughed when I read the first review because I also have a dachshund who absolutely loves his squeaky football. He used to have a squeaky shoe that unfortunately bit the dust after 6 years, so we desperately searched for something that would become his new favorite toy and this was it! He has a huge basket full of toys, but this is the only one he plays with on a regular basis. It's not too hard nor too soft for him, and he never goes anywhere without it. I had to buy him a larger food dish because he won't eat a morsel until he puts squeaky football in his dish. My dog is 13 years old, and this toy definitely brings out the puppy in him."

Football Fiasco

"Our Dacshund loves this ball. We bought one for him and he loved it so much we wondered what he'd do if it ever got lost so we tried to get him another but couldn't find it anywhere. Luckily we found them here at Petco. He loves it so much he will scour the house looking for it -- and most of the time he knows right where he left it. Greatest toy yet for small dogs -- ours anyway."
