"this food was not a good experience for my herit crabs. they went 4 days without eating becasue they didnt like this food. i was mad because of the price of this food and now im left with an almost full jar of it. not a good product. all it did was mold."

"My Hermit Crabs don't seem to like the bigger pellets,unless I break them down.I bought the Jurassic Diet because the pellets are very fine and small.So far,they seem to be eating it,as the pile of food disappears through the night."

"My hermit crab actually ate once I gave him these. They are a good size, so he could pick them up easily. They would mold if I left them in there for more than a day, but that is just a sign that they are fresh."

"This is so great i give it to my hermit crabs. I have 7 of them and they love it i tried a couple of different foods right when i bought them and they only ate this one they didn't even eat one bit of the other ones. It is the best and they will love it."

"I bought this crab food when I first started owning crabs. They ate it but not very often. I later found out that it contains copper sulfate, a pesticide, which may cause defective molts. However, almost all crab foods contain this, so if you already have it feed it to your crabs, along with lots of fruits and veggies and organic meats, and the crabs should be fine."

"I have 31 land hermit crabs that are 4 different species (C. compressus, C. rugosus, C. brevimanus, C. clypeatus) and they all seem to really like this food. It has a lot of quality ingredients plus the smell is not too nasty for humans. I also like that the pellets are tiny. All of my crabs, micro through jumbo, have no problem pinching this food. This is one food that doesn't need ground up.
The only thing I don't like is the directions. It has been proven through numerous studies that hermit crabs will not eat the same thing day in and day out yet the directions say to feed the JurassiDiet constantly. I alternate the JurassiDiet with dozens of other high quality foods, supplements and treats which is the way hermit crabs eat in the wild."
