Finally a CURE!!

"I have a cat that is just turning one year old this month. I got him from the humane society, and he initially had coccidia upon his first vet visit. This causes diarrhea, which he had. after treating this, he continued to have very soft, light brown stools though. I was feeding him Nutro complete care indoor kitten food (dry) which I thought was a very good quality food for him. I had tried changing his food several times to other "natural" wet foods (since he seems to envy my other cat's canned food) to no avail.. he wouldn't eat them.
About a week ago I noticed he had symptoms of a UTI and got that treated, and consequently decided to really research cat food rather than just trial and error of whatever random food I would decide to pick up. Come to find out male cats get urinary/bladder problems quite easily and not only should be on a wet food diet, but grain free was also best to avoid blockage.
I chose WELLNESS because of it's availability at my Petco and because it comes in bigger cans, which I think is more cost effective than the smaller cans. He LOVES it and for the first time EVER, his stools are firm and not smelly! His already very soft coat has gotten shinier and softer. He will be eating Wellness from now on and I HIGHLY recommend it. It's amazing!"

"Last order of this case almost every can was dinged. This time each can was in good shape. Each time, dings or not, it comes in a timely fashion. This is easier than an extra stop at the store. And, my cats love this food."

Healthy, but cat won't touch it

"This being a pretty healthy wet cat food, I was excited to let my dry-food addicted cat try it. He seemed excited about it too at first and ate it happily for 2-3 days. After that he would lick it or eat a very tiny portion and then walk away. After a couple of days of this I became concerned that he wasn't eating enough and then he just stopped eating it all together. He'd cry for food and as soon as I put that out, he looked at it or sniffed it and then walked away. It didn't matter if it was a fresh can, cold, room temperature or heated in the microwave - he wanted nothing to do with it. It's a shame! As soon as I put out his junky Purina dry food, he's all over that though! :("

"My kitties love this food! I'm just happy my three yr old is eating a good diet at all. After getting a kitten recently, I started her on the natural food and switched him over as well. I wish I would have realized to start him from the get go. He's pretty picky so I was crossing my fingers. They've tasted a few different brands and flavors and our favs are grain free Wellness, EVO and Natural Balance. They get Solid Gold Katz N Flocken dry food, rotated with CORE dry. Also, not to write a book here, but my kitten had a URI and while this food did improve both of their coats, she is still fighting with sniffles and all. (She's going back to the vet.) And I also supplement their morning meal with Vit. C. I was really hoping the natural food would help. But I'm not taking them off of it and we highly rec this food."

"After costly testing done by the vet to rule out Lymphoma, folate deficiency etc. the conclusion was Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Loose, mucousy, foul smelling and bloody diarrhea for several months. After only 10 days on Wellness Chicken, my beloved pet had and continues to have normal stools, has been weaned off the medication and has his vim, vigor and vitalilty back. His coat is beautiful, his nose is once again a bright pink and he loves his new menu!"

"After a long search - and after Billy's urinary blockage I finally tried the recommended chicken flavor for him. I do warm it up for 12 seconds in the microwave first - and he LOVES it that way. In fact now he wants nothing else! He's looking better and better every day! He has his pep and play back - I have my kitty kat back to normal!"

"One of my cats was throwing up after EVERY meal. I went on-line and saw that the Wellness brands were highly recommended so I went to PetCo and picked up five cans so I could test them out. Very first day - no more vomit and she hasn't had a problem since. Price is higher but well worth her health and my sanity!"

Can correct digestive troubles

"Our little girl kitten (6mos at the time) had some tape worms and became very sick. Thankfully she passed them, but it seems her digestive tract got damaged in the process. She could no longer tolerate the Science Diet kitten dry food, and had terrible diarrhea all the time.
First I tried Halo, both wet and dry, but that did not work. Then I got a bag of Wellness Core Fish and Fowl formula, and it almost seemed to make it worse.
The solution seems to be the chicken and turkey flavored wet food by Wellness. Her BM's are solid now, my carpet is saved and she feels so much better! I highly recommend trying this product if your kitty is having the same problem.
Fyi - Cats have a tendency for seafood allergies, so stick to poultry."

A Food That Actually Lives Up To Its Claims

"I've always fed our cats "ultrapremium" food, but this is the first one where I notice a MARKED change. I've fed them Science Diet for quite a while, then switched them to Royal Canin, then Natural Balance. All claim to reduce elimination problems, odor and promote a healthy coat. Well, at each step up (at least to me each change was a step up), I THOUGHT I MAY have seen a change (I certainly couldn't SMELL one though, LOL!). That's until I started them on Wellness about 3 months ago. WOW.
Their coats are very noticeably softer, smoother and shinier, and there is actually very little odor, from EITHER the stool or the urine. As a matter of fact, someone dropped over the other day and asked if I'd moved the litter box!
I feed them both the regular line of canned (they love all the flavors) and CORE dry. The CORE dry is the first dry food that they seem to like every bit as much as canned, and that's really saying something. I cannot recommend the Wellness line of cat foods more strongly."

"My newest cat (I have four) is terribly finicky. She refuses dry so I had to switch her to canned, and only wanted the best. I went with Wellness because of the excellent quality (digestible fruits and veggies, no grains, corn or by-products) of their food and she LOVES it! I give her a variety of the grain free flavors and she's doing excellent."

"My cat is (or was) a puker. Her doctor put her on a variety of limited ingredient diets to see which one was the best and Wellness won. She loves the food and rarely if ever throws up. I was getting frustrated because she would get tired of other brands and turn her nose up at them...not Wellness though. And I love that Wellness is a good product so I feel good having her eat it."

"After discovering the hidden truth behind cat food (gluten, corn=bad for cats) I switched to Wellness. I feed my cats canned Wellness that is grain free and also the Healthy Weight dry formula. They absolutely love it! My cat was recently diagnosed with feline cystitis so she has to be on a mostly wet food diet. She loves it and it's easy to mix in her powdered medicine in the wet food. I am SO excited that Petco has started carrying Wellness. It's fantastic! I highly recommend this food if you care about what goes into your little furbabies' bodies like I do. It might be a bit pricy but it's worth it to me!"
